Service 12 is being withdrawn on the 23rd April.

According to the first website, Leicester City Council are in consultation with Centrebus to alter their 162 service to cover Stephenson Drive and Park Rise.

The 12 was not part of the new "Leicester Buses" plan.. so this would partly explain why it has been removed.
But also numbers of passengers are very low. (Hence it never returned to the higher frequency after lockdown).
The revised 162 I believe will be formed into the new bus plan as part of the "Flexi Lines"!

35186 was chosen to be part of the vaisakhi festival today. It left the depot around 9am, picked up at East Park Road, before heading around the city centre to the bus stop on StNicholas circle..
It then made a very rare (&slow) trip through High Street & Humberstone Gate as part of the parade.. before heading back to the temple on East Park Road.
First were joined by an Arriva double decker, and a vintage coach as part of the parade too.

The arriva decker was E400mmc 4514 (YX16 OJO)

Possibly another Amazon Route being considered by Leicester.
A friend saw a First bus in Daventry today close to BhX3 Warehouse.
On looking at Bustimes it seems that L Leaner bus went there and then off to Coventry.. (although maybe it was a different vehicle using that ticket machine)
Not sure if they were just heading as a one off, or whether there's a potential future service?

BHX3 is indeed a new service which will run from Daventry to Coventry (https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/594046/).

33825 (SN63 MYH) has been reported as transferring to Leicester for this new contract; this was allegedly stated in a facebook group, don't know which as it's a private group that I'm not in.

seen it on the 38 yesterday and it's looks like it has been repainted as its shiny

A blue fully electric double decker (Streetdeck) is due to run in service for a few weeks on trial next week.
On the Facebook pages it was mentioned it's with First Leicester for 2 weeks, then off to Arriva Thurmaston for 2 weeks.
