Is it just me, or is there a shortage of deckers in the NXWM fleet?

The 12s and 13s can get rammed during peak time but both routes are overran with B7RLEs

The 80 sees more Omnilinks these days
Similar thing is happening with the 18 and the omnilinks- first time since the enviro 200s were on there constantly maybe 2 years back.

I suspected it might be, but thought they'd use E400MMCs on there when available.

You thought right - E400 MMCs are the norm for late nights on the 6.

Not exactly, they do use E400's as well when the Electrics come off, 4923 is out on it right now...

Stu

From my own experience and observations, it is fairly unusual to see anything other than a BYD EV or E400MMC on the 6.

Then again there were 3 EVs on the 2 and 3 yesterday for most of the day, and the MMCs are becoming more common again on those routes, so its probably not a surprise if the only available buses left in garage to go out for the evening 6 trips are E400s.

I remember someone telling me that Yardley Wood does a return trip on the 72 (Solihull to Chelmsley Wood), does anyone know if this still happens? If so does anyone know what time it runs?
Your new favourite 61/63 late night driver 😂

Not since March 2020.
When it ran it used to see E400 (including 35 branded ones) and Tridents and came of a YW School route. Used to be about 15:50 from Solihull Station.

94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Just wanted someone's opinion on what happened today.
I was waiting for the 18 at the Jiggins Lane bus stop. I saw a bus go up towards Bartley Green only for it to later go down Field Lane (not on its route)- no problem. I then get on a bus and notice that the same bus that had been not in service was now running the 18 and arrived at my stop just behind me. I have checked and it isn't timetabled to skip out the first few stops in Bartley Green so I was just wondering if drivers are allowed to do that.

Seeing as the 27 is being reduced to half-hourly from 24th April, I presume this means that the 20 will also be reduced to half-hourly too?

Unless the plan is to have the 20 operating as a standalone non-interworked service?
