That's the normal bus now for the 67.

According to the September Staffordshire bus news Select will be operating the 11 in Stafford - can't spot a registration, but the 876/7 has a change which perhaps includes it?

How much is a child single from wolves to Stafford?

mikestone

The 11 registration has appeared today and the timetable is on traveline, which now has the 3 and 876 shown correctly too.

will select be acquiring more buses to run the 876/3/11 services from Monday?

mikestone

Looking at the fleet list, taking into account that SN56AYB is now 2 and YX59BXY D&G 118, while YX59BXZ was still with Centrebus three weeks ago, it appears there will be 9 buses for a PVR of 7

Busman Jamie

YX59BXY, has never been with select bus, exactly just BXZ which is on loan to Centrebus

saw today a new no.4 x546ggo on the 11 in Stafford, and a new no.7 x248pgt on 3/876. no.10 the decker was also seen on 876/3 service. have select got any other services/buses does anyone know.

Hector

Yes, new 8 is X246PGT another Mini Pointer Dart recently withdrawn by D&G and operating on the 878 today in D&G two tone red.

The DD was on the 11.40 876 from Penkridge today - my guess was doing a swop saves the need to change over buses on route to get it on both Wolgarston school turns, but that would mean the 11.00 877 into Wolverhampton doing the 10.57 876 to Penkridge.

Today the Double Decker was on the 10.57 876 from Wolverhampton and the 11.40 876 from Penkridge - like yesterday.
The 09.35 877 from Stafford and 11.01 878 from Wolverhampton was a single decker.

Revised timetable on the 11 from Monday, some journeys now runing as 73 to Walton.
;
That said the only evidence for the existence of the service in Stafford anyway seems to be a note stuck to the timetable rack in the tourist information office saying they don't have any timetables!

The select timetables on Nwm need updating

Select's new route in Stafford is a combination of Arriva's route 2, Stafford to Walton, cancelled at the end of 2014 and route 3 Stafford to Wildwood,  cancelled this year.  Notice I've seen doesn't show a route number but has a timetable which shows 2 buses a day 5 days a week.  This is exactly what Arriva were asked to consider and turned down.  As yet Staffs CC bus timetable web site doesn't show any detail of this new service and sadly so far the local press haven't written about it, I suppose the old saying bad news, cancellation of services, sells papers whilst good news, introduction of new services doesn't.
