A couple of E200s I'm guessing will be surplus and moved onto other routes with NX no longer operating the PN 14/14A/24 CV 2 and WB 54.

Also Diamond will no longer operate into Solihull anymore once these changes take effect.

I caught 32260 on the 15C today and on Monday.
Both days the front blind wasn't working and was blank (the nearside one was working though).

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on November 19, 2024, 07:21:56 PMDo these still operate the Walsall to Boots Bus as My mate has to get On a bus tonight to there, does it have a service number and does it track on bustimes
If they do it's not a public service at least as far as I know.
The X11 from Aston Six Ways tracked as YN57FWG this morning but I believe it'd be closed door.

Notices up on BC buses from Monday 25th November until Sunday 1st December. Hobs Moat Road will be closed in one direction towards Solihull between Old Lode Lane and Melton Avenue to allow sprint works to take place.
Service 877 will serve Lyndon Road stop towards Solihull as normal and will then divert left Horse Shoe Lane, right Sheaf Lane, right Coventry Road, Lyndon Road, Melton Avenue, Hobs Moat Road.
Buses from Solihull will take the normal line of route.

Quote from: Sandy Lane on November 16, 2024, 09:49:17 PMCould we be seeing the return of the NXC 3 back to serve Clifford Bridge Rd then? The 3 used to run hourly along there and IIRC was sort of part taken over by the SC 60. Next question is are there changes to happen to the SC 60 also?
The document clearly says "Amendment to timetable of service 3S as per attatched - No change to journeys on service 3". Planned effective date 4th November.
It's as simple as that.

Re 8 15A/C services.
Would it not make sense for Worcestershire Council to install proper bus stops in the Kidderminster area. A couple of locations where buses currently stop with no physical stop flag come to mind 8 Rifle Range terminus, 15A Silverwoods Way just after the Larchwood Pub and there's some new housing development at the bottom of the Chester Road South as well.

Where there are  shelters in place in the Kidderminster area some of them loook more like shells or wrecks than bus stops. With out of date service numbers (First route 1) on the flags, or no service information at bus stops.

Also the 8 seems to have a reliability problem.

Quote from: Gareth on November 13, 2024, 11:06:25 AMTo be honest, I'm extremely surprised the 'leather' trim has survived so long. I'd have thought all moquette would have taken over by now.
As far as I know I think a lot of new buses nationwide seem to have full leather seats these days as standard Stagecoach, Arriva etc. I was on Diamond 32329 last week and that's had a "leather" retrim and repaint into brighter diamond livery before it was put into service.

NX have the part leather and moquette.

Diamond 21101 on the 8 was tracking as 30001 on bus times this evening.

Quote from: Stu on November 07, 2024, 06:35:03 PMWhich routes do Rugby operate within the Coventry area? And thus how many buses would be required to be electric?

Forgive my ignorance, but I only know the Rugby routes that operate in Birmingham!

Quote from: Ingleboro261F on November 06, 2024, 07:01:15 PMI know this is a bit late to be saying but why did first just decide not to go from Worcester directly to Birmingham anymore? Was it just too costly/took too much time or is there a deeper meaning?
Low passenger usage.
Anyway if you are going to Worcester the train from New Street would take less than half the time.
Compared to all stops 90 minutes via Droitwitch, Bromsgrove, Catshill and Rubery/Longbridge.

You have the 20/20A on the route as well from Bromsgrove now anyway with new links to the QE Interchange,

When I was at the front of the rail replacement coach earlier BU18YMP. The driver was told by the driver of a passing car that the 14A bus (731) blocking Perry Park Road had been in a RTC and we had to go down Waterfall Lane instead.
Not sure what happened but bus times says it was there for nearly 10 minutes and then continued in service, before going back to garage on completing the trip in Dudley.

Quote from: B61 ANDREW on October 30, 2024, 09:53:17 AMAnd the same yesterday, NXWM noted were 4751,4756 and 4841. Two s/d ex 'London' buses in use were YX61FYE/GAO. And two RH Travels m/b's in use were RF73VSJ and LN15RYA.
Pensnett/Wolverhampton E400s 4834, 4835, 4859, 4988 and blue and white 4992 were on there tonight.
4830 was also on there yesterday.

As well as the usual coaches BA19OWM, BU18YMP, BV69LOF and red E200.

At the Jewllery Quarter TFWM have put rail replacement towards Birmingham on the 8A flag and towards Stourbridge on the 8C flag. The Pensnett driver said TFWM have completely messed all the flags up and they're serving the 8A stop in both directions.
Then again on the first day (Sunday) BU18YMP did stop at the 8C stop as well.

Quote from: Stu on October 29, 2024, 08:27:55 PMWhy not use the 9 bus service instead? Sounds like it would be quicker and cheaper!

I thought about that after. I could do but I think the only thing is it would mean when I get off the train at Stourbridge Junction, I have to get the Shuttle into the Town.

I'm comming from Kidderminster, so I've had to get the 3 into town from Walter Nash Road East, walk up to the Station, train to Stourbridge, Rail Replacement coach to Snow Hill then the 94.

Quote from: 2206 on October 27, 2024, 09:06:51 PMBut TFWM have rail replacement on the flag on the stop on Station Road for some reason, so that is where the passenger was waiting.
As well as having a dedicated stop located in a location the majority of vehicles being used are unable to reach.

The other question is why do trains to Smethwick Galton Bridge then seem to run empty to the platform at Langley Green and why run empty and not in service.

Also for passengers travelling from Stourbridge to Snow Hill why not run some buses direct along the A456. Instead of making everyone take the 2 hour route via either the Soho Road or Winson Green and convoluted roads in Sandwell.

What is supposed to be noteworthy about these?
The E200s seem to be on there nearly every weekday..
