If Bustimes is correct, 8023 was on the X29 this morning!
EDIT: it's probably not 8023 since 8023 is now also tracking on the 48.

Quote from: mesub on October 27, 2024, 11:21:31 PMAn engineer would likely have to do this. All the same, a reasonably simple fix.
Quote from: Stu on October 26, 2024, 07:58:19 PMI'm guessing that by offloading Megabus, Stagecoach didn't want to get too involved, or they knew what was coming.I thought Stagecoach sold off Megabus because National Express wanted to buy Stagecoach.
Quote from: winston on October 25, 2024, 07:00:36 PMPresume a casualty of Flixbus expansion with the same low fares / no frills modelAnd, at least in my local area, a terrible choice of stopping locations.
Quote from: Mayfield on October 15, 2024, 02:05:58 PMOh O.K. I would say not ideal then as this renders the system pointlessI assume that given it's presumably electronically controlled, the stop-start system could just be switched off altogether.
Quote from: Mayfield on October 14, 2024, 10:23:44 PMIf Bustimes is correct 4761 was out today and SaturdayYes, I've seen it myself both today and yesterday.
Quote from: joieman on October 14, 2024, 02:22:01 PMI suspect 4439 has been repainted recently. It looks quite shiny at the moment, and Bustimes suggests it was not in service from August until a few days ago.To answer my own question: it looks fairly obvious. Those scratches on the corners of the roof are gone. Inevitably it is still in the Journey Mark livery. Either the painters up at Bootle used cheap paint or their bus wash was too harsh.
Quote from: AlexS on October 05, 2024, 10:39:56 AMIt also appears to have broken down the last time it was used so almost certainly the end as there's no point in repairing it for less than a week of use.
Quote from: Mayfield on October 05, 2024, 02:36:51 PMI noticed it yesterday parked in the naughty boys corner so I guess your probably right4760 hasn't been able to do a day's work for nearly a month. I wouldn't be surprised if 4760 is de facto withdrawn already.
Quote from: winston on September 27, 2024, 07:50:02 PMI notice Chalfont's are becoming a Flixbus subcontractor too, I assume they've lost their NX work & are defecting to the opposition the same as Whippet did.I spotted their freshly repainted BV67 JZA in Leicester yesterday. Weird to think that it was with NatEx just last month!
Quote from: BN on September 22, 2024, 08:26:07 PMThe fleet manager retired or redundancy a few years back. It's any man's game now to number the fleet.Or one for the entire group as most of the other big groups do.
Agree though, it would be a doddle to renumber and have a midlands/south fleet list. Not sure why it's been done??
