I see 127 is still mostly old E400's today?
Have they got enough electrics now to cover this route in full? (Alongside the 5/5A)? Or are more on order?

They normally have about six electric buses on these days, so I don't know why they put out only four of them on the 127 today.

The two routes inter work so it's always going to be a waste of electrics

Specifically, the 5 seems to interwork with the 6 and the 5A and X5 with the 6A.

Doesn't appear any of the new LC routes that started Monday or the new minibuses are tracking.

Honestly probably not. Leicester hasn't been repainting vehicles lately with the exception of new vehicles, despite some needing it! I think the last they did was 314?

I saw one Versa lately - it had lost so much paint on the nearside!

I suspect they'll keep running the older buses as they are until they break or get replaced by EVs.

It has been a really long time since anything got repainted, 314 was painted almost 3 years ago!

And I wouldn't be surprised if that new logo as seen on 578 isn't going anywhere.

Versa 770 has been withdrawn.

I did hear rumours about 4600. The fact is, outside of London there are few full-height Wright Streetdecks or Gemini 3s in the Arriva group. In fact, 4600 was probably the only one until last year, when four Streetdecks were transferred from London to Merseyside for rail replacement duties. Those have gasket windows, whereas the bus in the photo appears to have bonded windows instead.

Eclipse Gemini 4202 is withdrawn at Derby after a collision on Leicester Road in Loughborough that occurred on the 30th of December last year.

The first ten Electroliners, 8024-33, entered service as 74-plates last month. The remainder are entering service as 25-plates; 8034 and 8037-9 have entered service today.

How many are due in this batch please ?
