Quote from: markcf83 on May 28, 2024, 03:21:13 PMLikely to be in Essex green when next seen on the road. The new corporate livery has started to appear in most regions including on E400 MMC's in Essex.
Quote from: Mayfield on May 18, 2024, 08:55:23 PMCan't believe after all this time buses still carry Midland Classic fleet names
Quote from: joieman on May 18, 2024, 10:16:02 PMYeah, after nearly two years! Rather sluggish progress in my opinion. It does seem to be going quite slowly. 40521 is supposedly being repainted but was last tracked 2 months ago. Would of thought it would be back now.
Quote from: Glenfieldmathk1 on May 12, 2024, 09:38:30 PMCorrect. If bustimes is to be believed then 8001 had a trip on the 127 this morning.
Although it's expected a further order for 127 & 5/5A will be made imminently following the next round of funding (which will also see pretty much all Loughborough going electric, except for sky, midland Diamond & the few Centrebus routes).
It's also thought the 148/158 corridor could be going electric too (thanks to Warwick receiving a share of the fund.. although not sure if yet officially confirmed or just early speculation).
Quote from: winston on May 02, 2024, 06:08:56 PMI doubt it will, as isn't it the 8/9 routes that Rotala have won funding for, to buy a new fleet of EV's for.Yes it is the 8/9 the EV's are for but there is only 6 of them and the combined PVR is 10 so the 4 Metrocity's could stay?
Quote from: winston on May 01, 2024, 07:51:26 PMThere's a Midland Classic liveried E400 & Versa currently parked in Tividale depot, Simon Dunn has since confirmed that the E400 is for repaint, the Versa for accident repairs & I assume it will be repainted at the same time.Presumably 40521 and 30994 looking at bustimes. It would be nice if the Metrocity keeps some sort of Airway9 branding.
Quote from: joieman on March 24, 2024, 03:53:55 PMI wonder if Kinchbus plan to put the frequencies of these services up. Presently the 5, 11 and 12 each have a PVR of 2, the 2 has a PVR of 1 and the 9 has a PVR of three, making a total of fourteen buses. They are also for the sprint/campus shuttle which currently has 7 solo's to make the 21.
Quote from: Trident 4194 on March 17, 2024, 11:30:24 PMThose e200s are in a dreadful condition I'm not surprised. 31420 I sampled on the 142 and if you think that's doing above 30mph.Looking at bustimes 31420 tracked on a 8 from Swadlincote this morning but only lasted as far as Burton!
Quote from: Wba_lad on January 09, 2024, 01:43:43 PM158 830 just left Birmingham new street heading to Birmingham international solo, normally they work as a 4 coach formation, 2 158s.
Quote from: Trident 4194 on January 09, 2024, 05:18:48 PMNo they don't it can either be 2 or 4 carTypically the Birmingham - Holyhead services are at 2 car along the North Wales Coast but then have to be 4 car at Birmingham as they swap routes ie Holyhead - Birmingham - Aberystwyth/Pwllheli and reverse.
