With coventry requiring all buses that run into the city to be zero emission by the end of the year will the x6 still use single deckers when there's no coaches available or will they use double deckers

It will probably mean that TfWM will have to make him an offer he can't refuse, which results in the WMCA paying over the odds, meaning the franchising set-up costs end up being more than was originally projected.
Quote from: winston on March 06, 2025, 11:46:29 PMThere will be, even the franchising document predicts the WM bus market total Pvr will shrink further even under franchising. The report says that coventry will have a total PVR of 146 buses i believe that nx coventry alone has more then that amount at about 176ish buses
Quote from: Sandy Lane on February 15, 2025, 08:25:18 PMFrom 23 February 2025 I see the NXC 11 will no longer call at the relatively new and purpose built rail station interchange. I reckon only NXC X30 and SC X17 will serve from then? The interchange is turning out to be a disaster. IMO it is badly sited for rail passengers. Unless there are some exciting new plans for the interchange it seems to becoming a waste of money (council???)?Could it be used for CVLR instead
Yet as Justin Tyme stated (2021) - not so long ago buses use to call right outside the station front - yet now taxis pick up from the station front instead.
Progress eh?
Quote from: BBS on January 29, 2025, 11:50:23 PMThat doesn't count the X6 does it?Isn't the x6 excluded as it's normally ran by a coach?
Quote from: BBS on January 22, 2025, 12:32:52 PMDefinitely a better choice, hope it reappears on future EVsIMO should have been on all the buses looks smarter then price branding
Quote from: Sandy Lane on January 19, 2025, 01:36:26 PM40 seems a small number for Coventry to me? Doesn't NXC have a few more than that? The report says Coventry will have a PVR of 164 buses
If it is just 40 then just maybe they are looking at what was the new depot built by TDC (now a truck base) just before they stopped running?
