Quote from: tjwpsv on September 15, 2022, 06:54:06 PMAs TGB have not been tracking on Bustimes since mid-May, can anyone advise which, if any, of this year's routes are routinely scheduled for B7RLE operation, please?
884 and 885 are the regulars, but not every day

Quote from: fleetline6477 on September 13, 2022, 09:03:25 PMWere they still operating the Hagley School contracts, if so who is running them now?

I saw two of them this morning from a distance, one was a plain white Scania decker, the other I'm not sure what it was, green and white I think, some kind of East Lancs decker possibly.

Quote from: tjwpsv on August 04, 2022, 07:15:16 PMDo you have a list of the acquired buses, please? Also, can anyone confirm the GB fleet numbers of the retained B7RLEs? it's tempting to assume that they have been numbered in sequence, but confirmation (or otherwise) would be appreciated, Thanks.

631 - LJ09 OLO
632 - LJ09 OLP

620 to 635 have all arrived from Abellio, they are "mark 2" Enviro400s (originally Euro 5) unlike 601 to 619.

Everything that is not an E400, Gemini or B7RLE is now withdrawn from service, except for 365. This also includes 619 which is being cut up for seatbelt pull-testing following a major RTC earlier this year.

Stagecoach E400 15782 has had an argument with a 10'6" railway bridge in Exeter this evening - the bridge won

Quote from: mikestone on April 27, 2022, 04:16:07 PMA little surprised to see printed blinds with Rail Replacement  Coleshill Parkway, and presumably in error, Birmingham International, on Saturday.
.
Are they done in house?

They were made by an external company last summer and were fitted to most E400s as a cheap and quick alternative to LEDs. They have all the regular rail destinations (and the bus routes) but for some reason when you select "Rail Replacement" the display they wind round to is "Rail Replacement International" or something like that, probably a typing error when they were ordered

Four Green Bus vehicles out today on 19 and 39. Had to modify timetables and route due to the size of the vehicles but other than a couple of hic ups all gone well so far. 120 on the 38 service and has returned without any tree branches. Once again big big thanks to Ian and his staff and also Tony for getting all this done. All Worcester services out today using a coach, a mini bus and a solo, should have been a good day for spotters !!! Same service tomorrow but we are off to pick up 6 ex London E200 so if they come ready for service the end of the week will look much better. Finally keep a look out for perhaps three unexpected introductions into the fleet early next week ????

I'm pretty sure we pruned all the tree branches on the 38 in 2019 with the open topper!

I have updated The Green Bus fleetlist on my website tonight

http://wmbusphotos.com/greenbus/fleetlist.html

would one of the staff there check I now have it correct please?

105 was sold to a preservationist in August

I believe 111 and 129 are also withdrawn in storage, and that 397 has not actually left the fleet, @pndriver will be able to confirm as I am away from Birmingham

Everything else looks correct and Geminis/E400s are all correct

W112 DOP is now with Confidence of Leicester. It becomes their fleet number 96 and is currently running around still in Vamooz livery.

302 and 304 too

The Green Bus will this year once again be providing travel from the West Midlands to the world's biggest bus show, Showbus, which is returning to the Hertfordshire County Showground on Sunday 26 September 2021.

We will start by picking up at our depot in Hockley, and then in Birmingham city centre, and will offer various pickups along the way, depending on demand. We'll aim to arrive between 0900 and 0930 and will depart at the end of show, which is normally around 1630. The gates don't open to the general public until 1100, so by arriving on our bus you'll get early entry while the site is still quiet.

Tickets will cost £10 per person for return travel only. Entry to the show is £10 payable on the gate at arrival.

Please send me a message to register your interest and book your place! Any questions as always feel free to ask.

Looking back at all my photos from the Coleshill rail reps over the last couple of weeks, I believe these are the E400's TGB have acquired from Abellio London (not sure if any are missing from this list, so please feel free to correct me if I've missed anything).

LJ09 CCX (now 601)
LJ09 CCY (now 602)
LJ09 CCZ (now 603)
LJ09 CDE (now 604)
LJ09 CDF (now 605)
LJ09 CDK (now 606)
LJ09 CDN (now 607)
LJ09 CDO (now 608)
LJ09 CDU (now 609)

Looks correct to me. 610-619 have now all arrived too but none are in service yet

Any in the new livery? What's Ian doing with all the Gems he's just bought?

Not yet, but I believe they will be starting on them soon, I certainly don't expect them to spend their lives with us in red.

The Geminis are all staying indefinitely, they have been converted to Euro 6 over the summer
