Quote from: 2206 on October 10, 2023, 10:30:31 PMLooks like X21 will run Adams Hill, Romsley Road then as 002.
Carmel Grove stop served by the X22 instead Which will run Jiggins Lane, Adams Hill, Wood Lane, Kitwell Lane, Balmoral Road, Scotlands Lane, Fields Lane. So passengers for the City will have to board on the other side of the road on that part of the X22.

Didn't even spot that, I'm surprised at that. I thought it would carry on all the way up Adams Hill as it does now and just turn onto Woodgate Lane to do the 002 section from there.

Also I wonder if the X22 destination displays will be changed to say Bartley Green instead then.

New X21 timetable with the Merry Hill journeys from 29/10 on tfwm website.

https://legacy.wmnetwork.co.uk/plan-your-journey/find-a-timetable/#/route/cen_33X21_B_H_y11_64-64

X21/X22 up to 7-8 mins between 4:35 and 5:05. With another slight increase around half 3.

Quote from: Lukeee on October 10, 2023, 07:48:28 PMCould be more drop back on same frequency to avoid late running

Ah okay, fair. That'll still be tough to achieve with traffic levels right now!

Quote from: Tony on October 10, 2023, 06:19:12 PMYes, X21/X22 has 5 extra PVR on it today compared to September

There hasn't been any timetable changes that I can see. Still every 10 mins.

Quote from: John on October 04, 2023, 05:51:46 PMJust looking some buses are running nearly 2 hours late after getting delayed both inbound and outbound from City

THe ones on the A34 don't seem to be moving at all (yes I'm bus times spotting  )

Can see a few of those buses having to be parked up soon for exceeding driving hours

Not seen it this bad since we had the WW2 bomb in Aston a few years back

I've just come off 6870 running about 50 mins late with 6861 just behind not tracking but I'd guess about 30 mins late if it's the journey after.

City Centre was horrendous as you say, I'm hoping that was a one off.

Noticed signs saying Priory Queensway will be closed 14th-17th Oct this morning but I can't see any diversion information anywhere, unless it hasn't been decided yet.

Quote from: Tony on September 28, 2023, 08:35:15 PMWhy wouldn't they bid?

What do you think they gain from it, If they have priced the tender properly they make money from it

I don't know, I was just wondering to be honest. But if they can make it work then fair play.

Quote from: Stu on September 28, 2023, 03:25:11 PMIt doesn't say that anywhere about the 2.

The 27 is being curtailed at Yardley Wood. I imagine the 'timetable revision' for the 2 will see the reintroduction of service through to Maypole on Sundays.

Looking at the new timetable on Tfwm it looks like you're right.

I am curious as to why NX bid to win the 002 Sunday tender to be honest, is it just a temporary measure until a more permanent solution can be found with another operator? Otherwise, I'm not sure what NX gain from it.

It says the 89 will not run into Birmingham City Centre anymore but it doesn't say where it will be curtailed to.

Quote from: 2206 on September 27, 2023, 11:46:29 PMWas a temporary rerouting at the time due to delays on Bath Row.
Buses went into the City via Broad Street, Great Charles Street Queensway on the 80/80A and 98/X64.

I remember this diversion as it was the only time I've seen people consulted on one. A person come aboard a busy X64 with a clipboard and some flyers asking people to chose one option or the other. I opted for the Broad St diversion but I can't remember the other option.

Quote from: Stu on September 26, 2023, 08:57:31 AMNothing is getting replaced, it is existing services being merged together.

So 2 services getting replaced by 1 then.
