Quote from: Stu on August 05, 2023, 06:20:56 PMYou do know that the A45 is closed between Stonebridge and Allesley don't you?
I travelled the whole route so yes - maximum amount of time you lose is 5 minutes though! Doesn't excuse the hour gap in service

And todays worst bus service is the... X1. 1 hour people were waiting from Coventry. They was coming to Coventry then parking up before putting NIS and driving off. I caught 6838 which came round 20 minutes late and was basically full as soon as it left Coventry. Round the airport it had to refuse passengers because it was so packed. The one that should have been after 6838 came into Coventry on time and then parked in Coventry for what must have been 40 minutes. 7522 left NIS and went towards Birmingham. 4911 randomly appeared as we got to Birmingham as an X1 - not a clue where that gained service from. Left NIS after arriving into Birmingham anyway.

Quote from: Westy on July 31, 2023, 09:04:11 PMDunno why they describe it as a 'loan', when it's a transfer?

We had this on a previous livery change, where you had 'West Midlands Part Of National Express ' on the red & white livery, until someone got round to changing the signs, while the older Metrobuses in the silver, red, white & blue livery retained the Travel West Midlands fleet name, along with vehicles in the 90's livery.

Back in 1986, you quite happily had 'West Midlands Travel' stuck over the Wmpte livery!

I remember PN ended up with some ex coventry Mercs just before they was retired - think they just put a decal on them too - at least the mercs were at the end of their life anyway so it didn't really matter

Quote from: winston on July 31, 2023, 09:36:20 PMBig clearout of Kidderminster's fleet, the following have all been sold to Willenhall Commercials:

20052YJ60KHB
20869MX08MZD
20868MX08MZE
20913MX57UPS
20912MX57UPT
30855WX58FRZ

The following have all been sold to Wrigleys:

20530KX57OWK
20531KX57OWO
20532KX57OWP

Assume all are being scrapped. At least 50% of the above are already out of use, not sure what's replacing them yet.
Sure tividale have got those ex First streetlites in the yard.

Quote from: Tony on July 29, 2023, 02:22:24 PMYes, It was me.
That thing I can only presume was put out of service in West Brom shortly after. Travelled on 30703 (MCV) and I do love the shape of these vehicles. One thing I would say is they are painfully slow at getting up hills.

Quote from: Jack on July 24, 2023, 09:38:58 PMThe offending tree on Frampton Way has been an issue for sometime, always bashes buses going past it, but now they are only bothered now they have Hydrogens running along it. Let alone all the other roads that have tree's bashing buses that they obviously aren't interested in..
You clearly didn't read Tony's comment about them being taller and something on the roof of the hydrogen vehicles

Disappointing that the 12:08 76 instead of doing full route only went to yardley wood - then went down to depot rather than continuing to Solihull. Don't tell me there's still a shortage of drivers with the wacky wages offered

Driver on 1851 is leaving timing points 3-4 mins early...

The guys taking the piss must be a timing issue on his machine or just a poor driver

31421 Is an absolute nail. Was stuck behind this thing doing 10pm up drews Holloway. Shame they won't be withdrawing this one rather than solos that actually have some go in them
