@Matt I saw it in Wall Heath on the 1230 Merry Hill to Wolverhampton service.

Thanks Roy. Looking at the timetable, it would have arrived at Wolverhampton at 17:50, I don't know anything about Wolverhampton's boards but it may have gone out as the 18:05 256 to Kingswinford, as that journey is not tracking

1695 is back in garage

Failure, or finished its board?

According to someone i know, 1695 broke down in Wombourne on the 255, probably around 1540?

If 1695 broke down in Wombourne, it wouldn't have been at 1540.  It was scheduled to pass though Wombourne at about 1415 on the 1350 Wolverhampton to Merry Hill service and at about 1715 on the 1630 Merry Hill to Wolverhampton service.  It could be that it broke down at about 1415 and was still in Wombourne at 1540 awaiting a tow back to Park Lane.
It was broke down at Merry Hill displaying 255E it was on the patch then at about 15.15 it must have missed a trip or trips as another 255 was at Merry Hill at the same time

Does anybody know what has happened to 4002 and 4018? Both haven't been seen for a long time?

A driver did tell me that he saw 4002 in garage but he failed to specify whether it was having repairs or whether it was parked up at the back of the yard?
4018 has been parked up 4 some time withdrawn due 2 corrosion I'm told
4019 also withdrawn though I thought that this was common knowledge? I hear corrosion is a factor with the Spectra's now along with availability of spare parts I mean these things are getting on for 20 years old now. It would be a pity if one wasn't preserved however

So, 4019, which it was common Knowledge that is was withdrawn must be an optical illusion out on the 1 today!

So maybe it wasn't withdrawn, simply hiding in the 'strategic' reserve fleet  :D :D :D

In my opinion music shouldn't be allowed on buses, either from the drivers cab or passengers devises. To people like myself it is an annoyance and puts me off public transport. I would add that even applies if I like the music.

Also, a driver should be concentrating on driving.
If the music don't put you off public transport I'm pretty sure there's plenty of other things that will  :D :D :D

I hear a few groups/persons are interested but wether they actually go through with it is a different matter. I really hope one does get preserved, years to come one certainly would arouse interest and be a good reminder of the past. Although 'modern heaps of junk' they still served the public for many years and in the future will still preserve memories of people who used them and worked with them. Personally I would love to be able to ride one of these again in 20 years time....if I'm still alive  :P

PN 222 Branded 829 on the 205 @ 07.00hrs

As mentioned twice further upthread this happens every day as this trip is on one of the 222 running boards
Sorry if I repeated previous posts but I wouldn't have a clue about the boards and haven't the time 2 wade through pages and pages of previous posts. It's the first branded 222 I seen on the 205 so I posted it. Why don't they just use an unbranded bus? Doesn't the 222 and 205 use the same stand in Dudley? I bet that's caught a few out!!
Thanks 4 the info though  :)

Pensnett is normally very good at allocating 825-830 to the 6 222 running boards, it is only if one is off the road unbranded 824 is on there, so with every bus branded there isn't a way around it other than changing all the scheduling
Oh yes I get it Tony thanks maybe they should have only branded 4 or 5 to give them more flexability. Still a good picture opportunity if you happen to be in the right place at the right time  ;D
