4002 is now back out on 59/07, hasn't been out since October!

Replaced 4323 which has been put back out on that RB. So I'm not sure if 4002 just covered half a trip as it appeared to work a 59E to Ashmore Park and wasn't seen afterwards

2014 was the change bus on 3/07 as 2002 went onto 59's

Have just noticed Centro have but a new Bus stop in Chapel ash  near the new Sainsburys, always thought there should be a Bus stop going out off City, as there is one coming in. But it looks quite a dangerous spot there with traffic coming of the ring road, then getting stuck behind a bus & not being able to pull out into the other lane because of traffic in the other lane

Personally I think it shouldn't be in the place they've put it, fast bend, a crash waiting to happen

I remember the small ones the most. In general, the 4xx ones that came straight here from London were better than the ones that came via Dundee (72xx). 401 was one that stuck out for me.

Hates the 4xx's and 72xx's at the time but miss them now. My personal favourites were 684 686 691 693 696 697 698 701 702 708 711 712 713 714 715 717 718, happy days

Does anybody know what has happened to 4002 and 4018? Both haven't been seen for a long time?


A driver did tell me that he saw 4002 in garage but he failed to specify whether it was having repairs or whether it was parked up at the back of the yard?

4018 has been parked up 4 some time withdrawn due 2 corrosion I'm told

4019 also withdrawn though I thought that this was common knowledge? I hear corrosion is a factor with the Spectra's now along with availability of spare parts I mean these things are getting on for 20 years old now. It would be a pity if one wasn't preserved however

So, 4019, which it was common Knowledge that is was withdrawn must be an optical illusion out on the 1 today!
