I see that 5006 & 5007 don't appear on the U.K. buses fleet list as of 19th February but they are currently parked at Thurmaston depot along with 2 other unidentified others
5001 is also there, so I've been told - I think the other may be 5003?

Quick question, will there be any requirement for these electric vehicles to strictly stick to one route?

They supposedly have a range of 150-160 miles on a full charge, so will there be any need to have charging points at the terminus for a quick 'top-up'? I have no idea to be honest how long it would take to fully charge the battery on one of these.
https://www.route-one.net/vehicles/enter_the_electric_enviro_as_adl_and_byd_set_out/

This article from 2016 by RouteOne - albeit based on the Enviro 200EV - claims that "a full charge can be undertaken in four hours". Worth noting that the article also specifies that their claimed range is similar to our new EVs, being in or around the 150-mile mark.

I've yet to find anything more up to date, but I hope that's given a general idea in answer to your question.

X64 was changed to serve the Uni.
It already served the QE I think, but ran along the Bristol Road.
X64 hadn't served the QE until the 99 was withdrawn and replaced with the extended 244. The X62, which was introduced at the same time as the X64 - ultimately becoming the 98, did. Hope I've got that right! 😂

Have just got off 6999 at Hamstead Village, running (supposedly) 53 minutes late..

Roadworks at Old Walsall Road & lane closures at Hockley appear to be having a dismally detrimental effect on the service; both Diamond & NX, naturally

6999 has just turned around at Hamstead Village and left with a 16E to Hockley, with 7501 behind - also on a 16E to Hockley
