Haven't found the new NWM travel centre yet either, although I have to say I haven't yet looked for it

The closing of the Navigation Street footbridge has slowed down the wife's journey home from work. She now has to go in through the new Stevenson Street entrance, very close, but involves walking all the way round once inside & heading down a crowded escalator to a crowded platform at evening rush hour. Hoping they re-open the footbridge, a real time saver.

Yeah, they will, they're refurbing that whole thing as well.

I have to say I've never really had a problem with that route, yes perhaps the odd occasion a few buses turn up together, but no more so that other main routes like it

I was surprised to see a desario on the 22:47 departure from new street to Walsall i thought it would be class 323's or  class 170 turbostars as i thought the desarios were only seen in the morning on this route.

That one departure has been for a while, comes through from Wolves and is then the last train from Walsall to brum as well

X51 re-routed is just a test to see if this is route is quicker than moor street queens way I think it will still serve Aston University.

Haven't told all the drivers then, one I was on this morning went round the old way, and the one immediately behind went the new way. Kinda annoying because the new unload only stop on Newton st is actually quite useful for me

Sutton Coldfield to Lichfield times from tomorrow have appeared on Blackroot Road bus stop (not far out of Sutton Centre) as follows (Mon to Sat):-
92 Central Buses - 09.13 and hourly to 14.13 (plus 17.43 not Sat)
X12 Midland Classic - 09.34, 10.32 and hourly to 14.32 - the 10.32 and 12.32 being very close to the new Arriva 112 times!

Ah, so they're just shopper buses then, don't know why but I figured they might be all day things

4290 on the 46 (displaying Queslett as the terminus instead of Pheasey like the Enviro 200's)

Hang on.... they sent a decker out on the 46 up Nether Hall? did it even fit round the roundabout at the top?

Ah fair play, always wondered why there wasn't a direct link Solihul - Stratford

I'm beginning to wonder about the 51 of a late evening, because I always thought it was Enviros all day, bu tonight the last but one bus was 4136 (ironically enough still with the vinyl 51 route thing on the window by the steps) and the last bus (if I can see across the road correctly at this time of night) was 4132

Also, what appeared to be the last 997 of the night was a Gemini, didnt catch the fellt number

You can get anything on the 952 on a Sunday, it is usually a decker, any type. I have seen it sometimes and it has been an OmniLink.

strange route though, as it's just one bus all day

935 branded 4877 on route 51 today

So it was on all day then? Did wonder if it was just a bit of a strange interworking in the morning just to get the bus in place for the 935

4877 (branded for 935) on 51 at 8:00 this morning - I thought it interworked with the X51 on Sundays, or is that time in the morning a bit of an exception?
Also, trident 4330 on the 997E, seen them on weekdays but thought it was all enviros on sunday

The 28 used to be awful at peak times, maybe just due to traffic around Spitfire Island/Tyburn Road. I remember waiting for an hour in Erdington one night on the way home from college for one, the 3 turned up at once!! They all were the E's to Dyas Road too.

I have not used the 28 for a while now, so I don't know if they are still as bad.

Yep, still bad in rush hour, and exactly the same thing happens for me if I ever go that way home, waiting for a real 28 in Erdington and all that comes are short workings, cannot wait to see if the north bham review actually extends it all the time to scott arms.

Can kinda understand the delays on this route though, and others like the 11A/C, 8A/C, 18 etc..., they all have a fair few major junctions to negotiate so rush hour is always going to be a pain

Passengers have plenty of options to spend over an hour getting from Wolves to Merry Hill on buses this is why the X1 didn't work on the other hand the x99 (as I recall 45mins to MH) although poorly advertised and only running for a short period did not see much custom either. Against my opinion maybe a 'quick' 'quicker' or limited stop from wolves to MH is not required afterall or maybe It should have been advertised better?

Watch out new route next year X2 W-ton to M.Hill lol  :P

X99 may well have been quicker, but it did seem a long-winded route and the two times I caught it when it ran it was half an hour late
