Searching through the websites on the Gyrodrive hybrid power system shows Alexander Dennis supplied 14 buses with the system to Go ahead for the Oxford Brookes university services in 2014, and also that the Optare Metrodecker OM1 is fitted with the drive. This is on trial in London.

There was a poster in the Solihull office today saying that new buses will be on display in High Street, Birmingham on 4th July. Does anyone know what will be there?

The changes for routes 58,59,60 and 73 state "Route amended between Coventry Road and Bordesley Circus junction."This does not seem possible to me. Also the 17 follows the same route as the 73, but is not mentioned.

I know that it has been clearly stated on this site that only deckers from 4425 will be repainted crimson, but will an exception be made for 4177 and the other early Tridents which have received new engines?

Thanks for the update on the bendies Tony. I had begun to think after my last two visits to Coventry that they were going the same way as the Scanias, but clearly not if 6015 has received a replacement engine.

Stratford park and ride liveried YJ11EJE was in Solihull on the S20 at about 10.15 a.m. today.

Has work been started on the fitting of diesel particulate filters? If not unless the fitting can be done quickly there will not be much time to convert 150 buses, which I assume will be required by May 2017.
