32077 and 66308 swapped last night or this morning.

Are all of 66302-14 going back to Leicester?

Wasn't the plan. Originally, 7 saloons (B7L or B7RLE) were due to move from PMT to Leicester. The loadings associated with Keele may now mean more saloons are swapped with Leicester's 51 plate B7TLs.

To save a separate post elsewhere, Midlands' StreetLites 63345 and 63356 were at Mallusk, for PDI on 30/11/2015.

66307 is now at Leicester's Abbey Lane depot and has received a fuchsia front. 66310 has been in service in Leicester for a couple of days.

Also at Leicester is a Wright bodied Volvo (B7RLE?) registered BD14 KXT. It is plain white and is thought to be present to cover for StreetDeck rectification work. The bus is believed to have worked in Malta.

12 double-deckers will be required for the revised service to Keele according to the present timetable. Add to that the requirements for the services to Cheadle and Uttoxeter, plus another five or six required on 'normal' service to satisfy peak college flows and two employed on dedicated college services, and the 22(?) B7TLs currently in the Potteries fleet will not be enough, so you are no doubt right. In addition, with the double-decking of Keele there will then be too many cherry-fronted saloons.

The only reluctance towards having many more 'deckers in the Potteries is the prevalence of low bridges which may be encountered when running 'dead' at the beginning or end of the day.

Leicester is very similar in terms of the number of low bridges within the city and indeed has one route, the 21, which must be single-deck due to it operating under the bridge. Right from Leicester City Transport days, there has been considerable operational onus on the bridges and there hasn't been that many incidents over the years.

I thought all of Leicester's 51 plate B7TL's were due to go to Bristol

Plans are often fluid and evolve according to circumstance. Cascading to Bristol was the original idea and indeed 32069 to 32076 are already there (or Bath).

66310 is now in service in Leicester.

There is speculation that more of Leicester's 51 plate ALX400 bodied B7TLs will be heading over to PMT to provide additional capacity for Keele.

60006 - S350 MFP made the journey "home" to Leicester on 28/10/2015. It's now in preservation with the LTHT (Leicester Transport Heritage Trust).

Street decks have now started to appear on the 14/14A

StreetDecks have been at work on the 14/14A since 07/10/2015!

66312 is indeed now in Leicester, as is 66311.

32078 made the journey from Leicester to Potteries on 16/10/2015.

Volvo B7TLs 32073, 32074, 32075 and 32076 departed Leicester last night (08/10/2015) and are now in Bristol.

StreetDecks 35152, 35153, 35154 and 35155 entered "normal" service, on routes 14 / 14A, on Wednesday (07/10/2015). 35154 managed an escape from the routes it is branded for, by operating the 1840 service 94 from the city centre to Glenfield!

35151 is still in Manchester.

Thought it might have something to do with the Rugby... Before it changed to NIS, it did say '*something* Shuttle' - I guess it must've been "Rugby Shuttle" - Still, there's something odd, yet weirdly satisfying about the appearance of the Streetdeck which makes them look nice on the streets of Brum... I really hope the B5 demo is the start of a NXWM/Wrightbus contract.

Leicester's 35154 and 35155 were both in use on the rugby shuttles today.

Two of Leicester's StreetDecks should be doing VIP shuttle work, for the rugby, in Birmingham today.

35152 arrived at Abbey Lane depot today leaving just 35151 to appear. It is thought that the latter bus may be at the Roanza Mercedes dealership, on Trafford Park Road, Manchester.
