X21 going to merry hill via 002 route hourly on Sundays, I wonder if the Diamonds 002 will be renumbered to 21? @Simon Dunn

If anything, the X21 should be renumbered 21 and these Merry Hill runs numbered 21A.

Does the 002 not get occasional single decks on it anymore? The 16A has a Single Decker in it nearly everyday.

As Winston has said, it has had more recently, but prior to that it was pretty much all streetdeck.

3 002s coming into Weoley Castle within the space of about 3 mins, 2 of them together.

Tbh there isn't alot of traffic in merry hill on Sunday (maybe towards Christmas yes) but I doubt it'll impact it much. If the 002 can meet to timetable on Sunday, surely the X21 can too and they'll probably work in rest times at Merry Hill as the journey will probably take roughly an hour and a half. X21 is roughly 40 mins end to end on Sundays

I'm sure they currently interwork with the X22 on Sundays if I'm not mistaken, if so I'm guessing that won't be possible on the Merry Hill journeys.

Maybe you're right, Sundays might not be so bad. Problem would be if this was seen as successful and eventually replaced the 002 altogether.

But the x21 extension to Merry Hill is only on a Sunday, it appears (mostly via the 002 route).

Any because there's only buses on the road on a Sunday.

I said that because I thought it was a joke. It should be. Not only does it suffer delays through City Centre and Selly Oak sometimes, now it could get stuck up Merry Hill way.

The 14 and X14 swap should have happened January, But they cancel each other out now. So with the X1 going...couldn't that possibly leave a new route for BC to pick up?

Or maybe increase the frequency of an existing route.

Can a driver decide to do a diversion on his or her own accord or do they need permission? My X21 this morning decided to go down Harborne Lane instead of New Fosse Way because of the ridiculous traffic caused by the temporary 3 way lights. I'm glad they did to be honest I'm just curious who's decision it has to be.
