Fir what it's worth anyone who has a valid pass or pays a valid ticket is able to board and ride on any bus , covid do not travel laws do nit exist anymore 

Is there going to be an attempt to put some double deckers on the 50, I'm on the 0724 from City and it has a standing load, if the rest of the day is like it you'll be leaving passengers behind

We currently have 2 deckers on 50 and will look see what else can be moves around either for later today or probably tomorrow 

The 29.3% of drivers who accepted this deal plus any non- union drivers would be able to run a fairly decent chunk of service coverage if they turn up for work - perhaps not unrealistic to hope now a few more routes will be able to be operated if more drivers are willing to work.

I would expect they would still support their union and as such not work

Ok fair enough with Coventry, but I'd be surprised if Walsall's Hydros are out?

The 51 (their normal hunting ground) is running so as stated depends on if those who are type trained are working or nit.

Simon's reply doesn't say the deckers are going on the 50, it is two seperate statements regarding the 50 & the deckers, as below:

We are looking to deploy more of the vehicles we have within Redditch to operate the 50. 

We have recently acquired 6 x double deckers for the Midlands and depending upon how long the Industrial action continues, then they could potentially pop up on other routes.

Winston is correct Redditch currently has 5 deckers in fleet which could hypothetically be redeployed, so the new Geminis could pop up on other routes.

Where has it been stated that these deckers are for the 50?

A resolution hasn't been found in months of negotiations so I highly doubt one will be found in 2 weeks, both sides are poles apart 

I know there are road closures in and around Birmingham Business park with diversions in effect so this may account for the "unusual" route 

@Tony will you be driving?

Would you really want to be the only NX bus on say the Soho rd or through Alum Rock plus get the grief from your colleagues for breaking a picket line

96% in favour of strike action

In the West Midlands the driver selects the fleet number as he/she signs onto the machine. When buses transfer between depots sometimes it takes a bit of time before it shows under the correct depot in the log in screen so some drivers have difficulty locating their bus and select an incorrect fleet number.

I am in Redditch today and seen this vehicle several times, I have not witnessed this with this bus.
