Out of interest how come there are no x12/x13 branding. Is it down to not enough busses to brand. Bcus you'll see a x21/x22 23/24 and price branding all on the x12/x13 route

6703 to 6710 used to carry X12 branding when AG ran it.

With the fleet set to be in a state of flux over the next few years, I doubt we'll see any further brandings applied for a while, in fact you're more likely to see more vehicles having theirs removed.

I agree, routes that struggle capacity wise should lose their single deckers as top priority, I think @Stu will agree as regards the 2 & 3 being allocated Omnilinks too...

Top priority once all the non-Euro6 vehicles have been removed of course.

I expect most if not all of the OmniLinks will be gone next year, I think they won't start to be removed until later this year though.

In the meantime, we just have to be patient and wait. The electrics entering service at PB next week are just the first of 300 new vehicles due for delivery this year and next, as we've seen already this process will take some time to complete.

I think WB's priority should be replacing the Scanias with double decks. The 12s and 13s can really struggle at peak with singles

Why would they want to get rid of perfectly good Euro6 vehicles while there are non-Euro6 ones that must be got rid of?

obviously i know about the refueling problems, with Hydrogen's and believe me my only criticism is the lack of use, but after 3 years and at one time stating at least another 100 to be ordered, have we seen the end of this white elephant now, or are plans still in place to persist with them in future ?

personally i would like to see at least 1 Electric & 1 Hydrogen do a stint on the Outer Circle (Just Saying) my opinion doesn't matter anyway, wouldn't be hard to put 1 electric on there, i know AG can't charge them but maybe as PB used to have them 1 board could go temporarily to PB to run it ?

It may have been last year or the year before, but one electric bus did do a stint on the Outer Circle the once, I believe it was arranged as a 'treat' for a retiring bus driver at AG.

Am I missing something here, these have not been used for the best part of 6 months, they are now being prepared for service still with no plans to use them.

Have a look back through this thread for the answers - most have been sitting around idle for several months and are probably low on fuel, so will need to be driven to Tyseley for refuelling, before they can even start a day's service.

Then the running boards/duty rotas will need to be adjusted again to factor in the driving to Tyseley out-of-service to refuel before heading back to Walsall garage.

The buses work exactly the same way as a battery electric but the batteries are charged while in use through generation by a fuel cell

Yes, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) is the correct technical description for these hydrogen buses.

As opposed to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) such as the Electroliner and ADL Enviro400EV.

Don't know also where to put this but bus times is having a problem where the 11C/11A (AG) route does not show up and therefore can't track 11A/11C buses. Is anyone aware of this issue?

I was given a list of (pres) new vehicles which have been/will be allocated to the
 WM Fleet  I cant see any reference to these vehs on tony list(s) 
 The number series I was given ran from  38-04  YP17 FLH  up to 53-135 YS65  ATN

    there appears to be  a total of 20 Vehs allocated to Aston  (Park Lane )

    Most of the registrations appear to be Local  are they genuine or previously withdrawn?

I would presume that TfWM are already in the process of retendering any contracts they currently operate.
