Tony has already confirmed which E400's are due, and has also confirmed that 4940 (one of BC's) made it back from Glasgow to Walsall paintshop this Monday before he did.

And 4942 has literally just gone past me at Scott Arms going towards Birmingham so i presume it came from Walsall?

EDIT: I can just see it in the distance travelling down the Walsall Rd whilst aboard 4768 on the X51

They should be for the 24 but you will probably see the new batch appearing on routes such as the 22/3 and 900/957 with the 13 plate E400's and B5L Hybrids still making appearences on the 24.

Couldn't of worded it better myself. Except they were intentionally for the 24 precisely. As in, to make it 100% E400. So if 4906 was on the 24 then maybe 4949 could be on the 957. Wither way, it's forces the correct allocation.

It just means you will probably won't see as many Tridents on the 24 now

You wouldn't have seen 4940/1/5/7/8 as they were all on the 24 (where they should be)
4942 was on the 957
4943 & 4944 were on the 900
4946 & 4949 were on the 60 all day so you didn't wait long enough to see them

Which 24 service? WMSNT operate one in the Dudley area with their E200's?

All boards on the 81 are listed on the allocation list as E200's as is the 28 (WN).

840-51 are in service. 852 is parked in garage and i've also heard 853/4 are parked up at Park Lane too.

The service I thought was a 24 was the service from wolves to willenhall?...or was it a 28? its not my area nat so I'm guessing.... I knew 840 to 846 were running last week, from your post it looks as though they will all be up and running very soon.

No worries :)  Yes it is the 28 that operates from Wolves to Willenhall
