With all due respect why would you need a hi-viz? Trying to scab free travel?

And if you're on a depot visit, you get given one - but not to keep.

Presume that generally if you have high viz on not necessarily mean u are nx employee (i imagine you must be in full NX uniform for that lol)

Hm..

Vinny,

If you're wearing a piece NX clothing you're not an NX employee? So if you had POLICE on the back of it, you're not an officer?HHow's your logic, Vin?

Please tell me how a fully trained, professional NX driver is going to let a kid on without any questions, just because they're wearing a NX hi-viz

Oh, I didn't realise we talking children. Sorry about that. Oh the kids I didn't care, its nice to see the kids into something not football or drugs.

I'm against adults doing it. We had a regular on a cotteridge in an WMT jacket - the bugger was going on like he was management! Turns out he was come crack head with paraphernalia. There were posters in the garage and stuff, he was a regular on YW routes as well.

That's why I'm against it. But if I were you, don't wear it on a bus anyway, as if a disgruntled passenger were to have issues, they WILL take it out on uou, little boy or otherwise.

Chances are drivers/revenue can spot if your a driver or just a nut. And I think inspectors will take your hi-viz off you if you're caught wearing it - I think.

Tell ya what, wear it when your behind a bush, then jump out from behind said bush when you spot a bus, pretend your an inspector like the old days!! Oh Blakey! I hate you Butler!

Any idea if the new OD is intending to join the forum, to continue where Simon left off?

Or has s/he not been appointed yet?

Don`t think there is a new OD at the moment Matt, think someone is standing in for Simon until someone new is appointed.  :)
