Quote from: Tony on September 25, 2022, 08:27:14 AMWhile I have been on holiday it looks like E042, E047, E053 & E064 have joined E034 & E063 Who
Who is the person who gets these new buses on Bustimes as I'm going to invite BusandTrainUser to come and sample them. Unlike Edinburgh he doesn't have a Travel Centre to go to and ask what route they are running on!

They are in service on 12X, I'm currently on E42, passed E34 and E47. You can tell from Bustimes they are on 12X because there virtually no buses on the route!

I am told it's true that a double decker was on the 88 - according to bustimes it was 57 (Enviro 400 SK71 CLN).  It's the first time I've known a double decker be used on the 88.

I've not heard of one reaching Moreton-in-Marsh, but double deckers seem to have been used on all other services.

If you want to find out whats been on route 88 use Regional Vehicle Finder and run query "history JBH-88" to find all vehicles used on 88. I did see a double decker one afternoon last summer but didn't get picture.

The 31 Hospital to Wood End is only hourly and appears to be bolted on to 3 journey to Hospital via Dorchester Way with very little layover!

Any idea when these started appearing in the Travelshops?

Seem to have left it a bit late in my opinion.

It was lucky I booked the week off, to make sure I renewed my pass early enough.

However the book does look informative at first glance.

Coventry Travel Centre staff are working outside the closed Travel Centre for two weeks to help people acclimatise to the new world.
They had a pile of those booklets this morning. Dunno what is happening elsewhere.

Copies of A4 booklet "Where I can buy my tickets and other useful information" have appeared in Coventry Travel shop. Page 2 has a family aboard a Platinum bus in a state of bliss looking out if the window.

Travel Centre closed again this morning due to staff sickness.
The TfWM concept having a here to help person at podium has also lost momentum, as one would say in management speak.

4831 was probably the phantom sixth bus, it's tracking data was 'stuck' on 16 for a number of days regardless of what service it was actually doing (but it is now rectified this evening).
....and is 4453 not red enough to be a fifth bus for your 'red route'?  ;)

Good point about 4453, it's good to see heritage liveries live on in the West Midlands when good ones elsewhere get repainted after a year.
