there should be a dupe on around that time so two buses run together @pndriver

I was on 244 this morning, the duplicate was in front coming from harbourne to Halesowen. Both of us had full buses

I caught a 22 just after the 0755 (0647 from Dudley) 244 sailed past so didn't see if there was a duplicate. Possibly a stupid question, but instead of duplicating journeys, could they not put on some additional peak journeys to provide a 15 min frequency at the busiest of times?

I see, thanks for the info. I'm surprised the powers that be didn't see this coming. As the 20 minute frequency 99, certain peak journeys always seemed heavily loaded so it's no surprise a 30 min frequency struggles to cope at times - hence my original question. Will be interesting seeing a Trident on some of those roads, if that comes off.

surely a peak frequency of 20 minutes dropping back to every 30 minutes off peak should be considered.

Either that or run a trident on one journey as a 244A and miss out the offending roads.

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

It's those roads where the passengers are getting on

The story with the X10 is the same as the X12. Not enough Platinums. The only difference is on your side of the West Midlands, you have more morons per square mile, hence the constant posts.

Some mmcs can indeed move with a fast driver!! 6104 was pretty rapid today keeping up well with the streetdeck in front. All depends on the driver though no doubt
