Been on the 9 where it was parked up and a Diamond bus behind crashed into it's rear causing a 45 minute delay at Cradley Heath
1403 - was on here enough times driver kept getting ****ed as engine kept cutting out route 46 (know this driver also)
Have been on a Midland in Walsall where it was meant to set off but the oil had all gone and no brake fluid
16 - Diamond only a month ago stopped outside Selfridges because the gearbox has gone - polish driver only said kaput! :P
22/23 out of service as Wayfarer 2 decides to freeze (most likely due to amount of RAM inside the hardware)
Scania Omnilink - Route 46 - about 8 months ago was on the brakes kept releasing all the air which meant they weren't working as such and red warning lights - out of service - driver just sat there and read newspaper for 2 hours (nb I know him so its OK :))
The 7 Perry Common colliding with a car at the livery street bridge :P driver of car was a chinese guy who did a runner

should I go on.. lol :P

The one about the 16 made me laugh ;D

4180 is very close to breakdown. Erratic idling, very slow revving, extreamly heavy brakes and steering, and excessive exhaust smoke and the emergency exit alarm permanently on. Very low quality vehicle. And the there's a pipe with white smoke bellowing from it, not continuous but only under heavy acceleration. I'm sure that has got to be the next one to be extensively refurbished.

OK, not a breakdown but near enough.

4800 is getting worse and worse, I'm sure it will be the first of the 09 Enviros to go, I bet the engineers hate it too

1754 broken down in wednesfield high street. Buses are being diverted down Alfred Squire Road neachells lane and back to normal line of route to allow mansfield truck to tow bus away

Was it the same place those 2 buses got stuck recently?

Yes it is! caught 1754 on the 69 earlier! I live near wednesfield and always encounter buses almost getting stuck. The Mansfield truck driver requested for an inspector to divert buses to allow him to tow the bus away
i wondered what was goinmg on as our driver went up alfred squire rd. i saw broken down bus and tow truck there, but driver just standing around doing nowt. knowing whats required before towing, if he was waiting for an inspector, he could at least have removed the halfshaft/prepare it for towing.

The Mansfield truck driver asked our driver on the 59 (the bus was 601) to radio through for an inspector. Which bus were you on. I passed through wednesfield just before the garage put a call out

Me and Matt agree that 4800 is the slowest E400 we've been on. Matt (Nitromatt1) caught it before on the 241 and he said it really struggled up hills!

I believe the swap isn't happening now

nitromatt1

Yeah the swap's off if it was ever "on" in the first place.

Oh? You'll have to explain further. I was looking forward to seeing a 48XX rariety on the KN. Oh Well.

Trident 4609

Well Matt told me it isn't happening! Plus a post from tony not so long back practically said it all!
