i seen that to 586 was the same at WN and was due to do the 25

Yep, saw what happened after I arrived in WN on 1419. 586 was receiving attention by the engineer, then put the hazard lights on, then inspectors were there. Several minutes later, 586 was on the move - to where? I don't know.

what time was you in Wolverhampton til

the trainbasher

7031 was seen going past Aston station earlier sporting a new air conditioning system with a broken window behind the drivers cab. I presume for a guess it had come off the 28 based on the Scott Arms display

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Driver phoned someone at Bearwood reporting the problem (presumably engineer on call), and told passengers the bus was not going very far, most passengers abandoned the bus at that point onto the 141 behind including me so I have no idea what happened after that

One of the things that will cause that is lack of ad-blue, not sure if there is a visible ad-blue gauge on the MMCs, I know there is on the older E400s

According to the net, this Ad Blue stuff contains high grade Urea, is someone taking the piss?  ;) ;) ;)
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

This is what i found,

"Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), commonly referred to as AdBlue in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, and standardised as ISO 22241 is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% high-purity urea (AUS 32) and 67.5% deionized water. DEF is used as a consumable in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in order to lower NOx concentration in the diesel exhaust emissions from diesel engines."

I believe ad blue is a fuel substitute used alongside diesel which reduces the amount of diesel used ...am ready to be corrected though

Ad blue basically makes it so anything that comes out the exhaust clean air :)

Yeah that was it, knew it was improving emissions anyway haha.

Yeah its, in most basic terms, filtered sheep/cow piss.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
