And now 39685 is the latest Stagecoach breakdown victim, seen at 05:40am this morning (I believe it had been working the 03:15am 767 from Nuneaton, Red Deeps). Judging by the spill on the road when I had finished earlier, it looks like yet another coolant pipe bursting, now the 4th I've witnessed in a year on this same bus type!
If it was the 03:15am, then it would have broken down about 04:15am. I bet the on-call engineer was happy about being dragged out of bed at that time!

It must have been fixed pretty soon after, as I just had it on a 57 half an hour ago.

PB not doing good this morning.

Gemini on the 65 broken down at the stop past Lancaster Circus
4251 at Perry Common with a coolant leak (was on the 7, replaced by 1863)
4241 on The Priory Queensway with a flat tyre (also on 65)

John

West Brom weren't doing too good either by the looks of it! 4249 and another ALX400 both on Colmore Row (4249 looked like it had lost coolant). An engineer had brought another ALX400 as a change bus for one of them

...

This would explain why I was late this morning.
Actually saw it when I eventually came past on the next 67 (which naturally was late, that one departure usually is) but assumed because it was at that bus stop there he had just parked up before getting into town to start service
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

632 broke down by Stand K in Wolverhampton Bus Station. Hazard lights on, blind set to "Sorry! Not in Service", inspector and engineer in attendance.

Edit: 632 is back in service now.

2159 broken down in Bedworth about half an hour ago, hazards going and Not In Service showing but no visible leaks etc. so I'm assuming it just conked out.
