I didn't factor in the 94. I assumed it was slower. I suppose you can't go wrong with a route which is Gemini operated ;)

AG 5 is a nice long route with Gemini's if you want to kill time. Always has and will be a favourite route of mine.
The X12 is my favourite route, long but enjoyable. With the Platinums it's nice, and even nicer with a Gemini!

Shame one of the Platinums didn't turn up for you, they are absolute beasts (compared to WA's), 6702/4, they rev really high. Better than a Gemini any day on the X12. I'd still recommend a ride on the X70, you sure will like that route.

And while I generally don't encounter much anti-social behaviour on buses much, some of the worst I can recall happened while I was on buses travelling through Bournville and Solihull. Supposedly 'nice areas' eh?
Even on the X70 which is a "nice" route, (in Castle Bromwich) I noticed a faredoger just walk on 4944 at Parkfield Drive, Flecknoe Close this afternoon.

The 97 seems to take FOREVER a lot of the time due to there being so many stops and it's such a popular route, even though they are frequent. It can take up to 40 minutes to reach tile cross sometimes. It would be nice to see these as platinums to make the journey better even if it's busy. It's also the 2nd worst service in the west midlands in terms of crime but that's probably because it runs very late at night.

The 97 is the closest route to my house and I quite like it. I've never really waited ages for a bus. It gets to City in a good time. Traffic is something which affects most if not all routes. In regards to Platinum conversion, I can't see it happening although I would welcome it. It's frequency is most welcome, I never bother checking times during the day because I know if I just miss a bus, another is not too far off.
