Carlyle Bus And Coach is in Great Bridge Street, Swan Village, near West Bromwich.

The 74 passes right by there.  ;)

I thought it was Out of Birmingham ?  ::)

Anybody know why the 94 has been going down Bosworth Drive (in Chelmsley Wood) lately? Not sure if it still is, but it was on Friday.

Another summer thing

??? Another summer thing????
It is going that way because the bridge is being rebuilt and Chelmsley Road is closed. The contractors have finished two weeks early and 94 and 71 are returning to normal line of route at 9am on Monday

Didnt mean it like that :(, that came across wrong, but Ive noticed alot of road works happening over the summer, and yes thats down to less people on the road so less congestion = less delays

Yes, this is probably the best time of year to carry out major roadworks, when traffic is lighter.

Look at the Stratford Road / Highgate Road junction improvement works, they've been ongoing since January, but the most disrupting part of the works have been timetabled to take place around this time.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Finally managed to ride an Omnicity today, on the full 907 Birmingham - Sutton Coldfield. 4778 was the one I got. I must say I do quite like it, nice and smooth at high speed and reasonably good at pulling off. Not the most interesting engine sound though (rather Omnilink-like unsurprisingly) but all in all quite a nice bus.

That's if you like rattles, did you catch 4718?
