The older buses have to go somewhere and I am a big fan of the B7TL ALX' but still think a refurb is needed, though it takes time to do them all.

I am always greatful when I see a B7 ALX round Pheasey, I am bored of a sea of enviros!

Liverpool Street

I'd be more th>n happy to see B7tl ALX back into the South. Never happen though.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Yesterday morning I caught the second 65 from Short Heath into town at 5.30am.  It was 4284. I have never seen the interior of a bus in such a disgusting state of maintenance. Whatever PB has in for refurb next should be stood down and replaced by 4284 urgently.

The B7 ALX seem to quite unloved :(

Saw a B7 Decker heading through Nechells this morning, was either 4263 or 4283, heading down Bloomsbury st towards the city. Anyone got a clue why?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

I'd like to think our PB B7s will have their day in court (sorry, the paint shop).  They are to say the least a very motley crew presently.

In Gemini news, it looks like 4495 is the sole surviving member in old 'low floor' TWM livery at present.
Don't you start.

The B7 ALXs are amazing buses, and have served WB well for years, but some of them are in desperate need of a refurb
