I cannot remeber wether it was 4165 or 4167 which sounds diffrent to the other tridents, or it could just be me (:

Is one of them Euro 4?

4166 has been re-engined

Thanks Winston, its now sounds smother than the other tridents  :)

That's because Euro 4 is a better version of Euro 3 ;)

Urr, BC discussion only please gents.

Sorry went off on a bit of a tangent then ;) Will try and keep it to the WN garage thread ok?

Yes that'll be fine. Once I figure out how to move individual posts I'll move them to WN topic

Thanks:) Do you know all of the Euro 4 Tridents at BC LS? Just wondering so i can look out for them ;)

I believe this one?

These 3 were done at Wolverhampton a few years ago so they may differ enginewise to the recent 46**'s
4166
4179
4186

Other 41** are
4148
4172
4176
4177
4178

Then those that I know off are
4586
4619
4633
4634

Just look for any Trident with the extra filler cap behind the front wheel, those ones have had replacement engines

Indeed. If you want to travel on a decent bus, go on the AdBlu 46's or fully refurbed 44's. Excellent machines.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

When LH closed, if you want a transfer list for that event then here you go

1628 moved to WB
1629, 1630, 1631 moved to PE
1632 - 1639 moved to BY
1641, 1643,1644,1645,1646,1647,1648,1649,1650,1651,1653,1654,1655,1661 and 1662 moved to WN

I think all the LH omnilinks moved to BC, help? :D

4365, 4370,4371 and 4374 moved to Walsall, the rest of the LH Tridents upon closure moved to Central but it took a week or so to move everything as the auction fleet was being mmoved into LH at the same time

Have i missed anything?

The OmniLinks were split between Yardley Wood, Perry Barr and Birmingham Central. The ones that went to Birmingham Central went when Lea Hall Closed, the Yardley Wood and Perry Barr ones were transferred a few months before in exchange to Tridents for Lea Hall, and to convert the 907 to OmniLink (big failure).

1816 to 1820 went to Perry Barr in April 2010 and transferred again along with the rest from Lea Hall and Yardley Wood to Birmingham Central in July 2010 when Lea Hall closed, at the same time Yardley Wood transferred theirs to Birmingham Central as well, so all of 1788-1820 all went to Birmingham Central

Why do I remember BC operating a number of Mercedes 0405 upon closure?
