How do you program a route on a bus, it is as simple as just typing the route number, destination, via points in with a keyboard?

Ive saw blue diamond routes taped to the window in Coventry but this is normally when an all white dart is running it because i think there from the dealer and havent had the routes programmed into them a normal blue diamond dart has the correct routes programmed in.

Blue Diamond do not use dealer hired darts. DeCourcey currently have one which is ex Rotala. The white ones in use with Blue Diamond are either ones painted white ready for sale or ones just moved up from either Heathrow or Bristol

Ok, didnt relise there were the ones transferred up from Heathrow or Bristol becuase there were like this:

i would have just thought they would have been repainted in the blue diamond livery or at least had the fleet names but on them so this lead me to believe they were from the dealer, as black diamond have repainted the buses they have aquired from other divisions in the group.

Where do you actually live as you seem to think you know more about other peoples local services. I'm a regular on the 37 and I've never seen this.

I'm actully unsure if you actully pay attention to buses ::), SOME Blue Diamond buses have paper on the window, END OFF

I have to agree with Nathan on this one, I have only been on the 37 a couple of times and even in that short time I did see a couple of Blue Diamond Darts with paper in the front window with the number 37. I seem to remember one dart had a blank display and the other had one that was just displaying random blocks of colour so that one was definetly broken.

I use the 37 around four times a day and have never seen this. It's not 'end off' Nathan. We all have a Caps Lock In case you didn't know, and most likely you didn't.

Because the topic is on LED displays  ::)

the 966 also has that

Blue Diamond don't operate the 966.  ::)

They've ripped of the AG blinds, so they now read 37 Solihull (filling the entire display) then changes to 37 Solihull Station with the 'via points' scrolling underneath, like the Scanias but without the scrolling of course. The Rotala displays are terrible though. They seem cheap, although that doesn't surprise me.

Notice also that the 'scroll' doesn't get to complete, before it flips back to '37 Solihull' or '37 Birmingham'?
I thought you were on all about all buses in general an VIP operate 966 eveings

& Blue Diamond 37 usally have paper stuck to the window with 37 on it as the LED's dont work

Im a regular on the 1/31/37 as I'm sure Stu is and I can say that I've never seen a broken LED on a 37 Dart, so obviously not regular.

VIP has nothing to do with this topic...

Most have paper stuck to the window displaying the number, it happens on the 17/37/97 which are all Dart Operated ::) ::) ::)

Believe me they dont. And why are people talking about VIP as theyre nothing to do with diamond!!

I have noticed this with blue diamond, a dennis dart, I assume had a broken front dot-matrix display and so I piece of paper displaying the route number was put at the bottom of the windscreen.

Please do not tell me about broken displays. I know they happen. I just haven't seen any on the 37 which brings me back to the original point where Nathan said they are regularly broken which they are obviously not. I use the service every day so don't tell me what's what with my own local service!

That one on the link is now in plain blue, and is now my favourite dart. Although, why does it have seatbelts fitted to it still?

PM

Saw this on the 10H a while back.... Looks good...
