LED displays

I've noticed recently on some Blue Diamond buses on the 37, that they've changed the LED displays, so the route number is back on the left-hand side.

Any reasoning behind this?

They've ripped of the AG blinds, so they now read 37 Solihull (filling the entire display) then changes to 37 Solihull Station with the 'via points' scrolling underneath, like the Scanias but without the scrolling of course. The Rotala displays are terrible though. They seem cheap, although that doesn't surprise me.

The blue diamond ones dont seem as good as the black diamond ones, but no suprise similar to the buses when compared

The Rotala displays are terrible though. They seem cheap, although that doesn't surprise me.

The Signature buses have also had the LED displays altered. The lettering is now all in capitals and in all different sizes. Also just the number is displayed on the back now, e.g S2 instead of little S2 and destination.

Im a regular on the 1/31/37 as I'm sure Stu is and I can say that I've never seen a broken LED on a 37 Dart, so obviously not regular.

Most have paper stuck to the window displaying the number, it happens on the 17/37/97 which are all Dart Operated ::) ::) ::)

Where do you actually live as you seem to think you know more about other peoples local services. I'm a regular on the 37 and I've never seen this.

I know what you're talking about. I saw a VIP dart Marshall with broken LEDs, it just had a piece of paper tapped to the windscreen

Ive saw blue diamond routes taped to the window in Coventry but this is normally when an all white dart is running it because i think there from the dealer and havent had the routes programmed into them a normal blue diamond dart has the correct routes programmed in.

Believe me they dont. And why are people talking about VIP as theyre nothing to do with diamond!!

Blue Diamond do not use dealer hired darts. DeCourcey currently have one which is ex Rotala. The white ones in use with Blue Diamond are either ones painted white ready for sale or ones just moved up from either Heathrow or Bristol
