Can't see a 2017 thread so I'll post here but 4424 is at paint shop, presumably going green ready for transfer to Dundee so doubt it'll be back at Coventry!

Compensation culture and a misguided sense of entitlement?

Sounds about right

6847 validator stated dead, carry on mate, probably why the real time didn't work either! No wonder the driver didn't look happy. Another £10 travel voucher.....

Why would the driver care? Makes loading faster? Assuming validator is the card scanner ?

I wonder if it's getting steam cleaned from underneath?

Is it Birmingham garages only that use the place near BC?

Walsall was jetwashing the platinums the other night

If my eyes don't deceive me 6850 appears to have an advert frame?

Even in the daytime yesterday, it was quiet. Had no more than 15 people on at any one time. My first bus from Sutton, 11.55am was empty from Sutton, never picked anyone up till New Oscott.

I've had it on a weekday at school time, and it's a completely different route after they all leave school

A great dead run back from Walsall,  I had 33 minutes to get back, done it in just over 15. Roads were empty and flew through Scott Arms. With the timetable changes, I don't think any finish in Walsall now. I think they finish at New Oscott from Walsall and Bridle Lane from Sutton

That 25 minute dropback is nice around 2/3 o clock in Walsall if you still get it? Saturday times used to be a joke, used to get hammered with barely any dropback

I can see why the 77 timetable is being reduced. I had the last bus from Sutton, 7:05pm, and no one got on until just outside Walsall. There was a 934 just behind me so they could have easily got on that. The last trip from Walsall also empty, only picked up on the Sutton Road and after New Oscott

Yeah, its busy during the day with pensioners and evenings with school kids but then it dies. Would love it to come back to WA

I'm in favour of more restrictions on the roads. If there was less room for private conveyances and more room for buses to have quicker journeys, more people would use the bus as reliability would be up

If I had my way, Moor Street would have the entire inside Lane in both directions fully bus and taxi only, Priory would be bus and taxi only all the way up, Lower Bull Street would be bus and taxi only, all down Colmore Row from Livery Street to the lights where the buses turn right and Upper Dean Street.

When I say buses and taxis only, I mean when Hackney Carriages, not those pesky Uber cars!!

In dudley I would have a bus lane all the way from the Hospital to Queens Cross, the entrance to Foster Street in Stourbridge (and the lane on the ring road leading up to it), the entire inside lane from Halesowen bus station round to the island at the bottom of Mucklow Hill/bottom of Manor Way, both directions on Brierley Hill High Street from the five ways lights to the lights at the police station, plus Mill Street heading High Street bound.

Why should taxis get priority? They're taking up as much room as any other car plus are making a healthy profit, especially those black cabs that you seem to favour
