Why was 4497 and 4676 withdrawn? They looked perfectly fine in their last photos. 4497 was even crimsoned.

Both were accident victims.

4497 was a write off when it had a major RTC on the 16.

Am I the only person who thinks that the Presidents were withdrawn too soon? Considering that there are Volvos who have/are still going around that are even older.

I agree - I didn't like the massive rush to remove them at the end of 2016. I am really missing them now, but everywhere was getting a Euro zone emission and being Euro 2 they couldn't go far. Didn't like how the Walsall examples went all at once when there was nothing wrong with them...

Now the last President has finally left for scrap I have updated all the histories to include any know subsequent moves on their individual pages on the main site

Anthing I have missed or any errors please let me know.

Only 2 of the 102 vehicles I don't know where they are at the moment are 4084 which went to Transdev, but has never been put into service, and 4099 which was sold to an operator in Bedfordshire in April this year and is fully taxed and MoT'd but the operator is unknown

The only places that have a zone emission planned are Birmingham and Solihull. I heard Wolves was getting one but I'm not sure when so NX could have moved them to PN or WN,WB. But you're right, they are Euro 2 and considering the efforts that NX have put in to make their vehicles Euro 6 complaint, it was probably the best decision.

Really, the entire NXWM fleet is going Euro 6 by next year. (I think summer 2020 is the revised date), that's why there's currently loads of the existing fleet being upgraded to Euro 6 at Grayson's. Presidents could not be converted being Euro 2. The design of the President bodywork also hasn't aged as well as Gemini's.

Isn't the Volvos Euro 2?

Nope, 51 plate Volvo's were Euro 3.

100 x Trident/ALX400's (4125-4224)
80 × Volvo B7TL's/ALX400's (4225-4304)

The above were all ordered to Euro 3 emission spec & some of the first to hit the road.

And the vast majority of the survivors are currently around Euro 5 with the Green Urban traps fitted
