This may sound stupid but here goes,
Does the 25C/25A interwork?

Yes they do :)

They interwork as follows-

Mon-Sat

A bus will do a say 25C loop (So Stafford Rd-Bushbury Hill-Wednesfield-Willenhall-Bilston-Goldthorn Hill-Wolverhampton in this direction) then when it gets to Wolverhampton it changes to a 25A and then works the loop in the opposite direction (Wolverhampton-Goldthorn Hill-Bilston-Willenhall-Wednesfield-Bushbury Hill-Wobaston-Stafford Rd-W'ton)

And vice versa.

Evenings and Sundays

It does a 25C as far as Bilston where it terminates then changes to a 25A to go back to Wolverhampton in the opposite direction

Does this answer your question? :)

5512 on Rail Replacement duties today!

From my observation in the past the PB DP seated Omnilinks have been used.

Only one B5 on the 59 today so i wonder if 5511/5513 are also on rail replacement

5514 noted on rail replacement @ Wolverhampton Bus Station about 09:20

Yes!

Care to elaborate? I would like to do a trip on either of the routes this afternoon, but with something other than a Trident

Roy

The 255 is currently 8 Tridents (4312, 4541/49/55/57/74/78, 4608).  I don't know what's on the 256/7.  The 1620 255 from Wolverhampton is usually a decker from a school service but, as it's half term, anything could be used.

Never mind.

4595 and 4536 were on consecutive 82 departures from Wolverhampton yesterday morning.

I know there is one trident allocated in the week to cope with the schools/peak time but during the half term i have noticed a fair few tridents on the 82 (There was one day during Easter Half Term when there was atleast 3-4 Tridents). I rarely travel on the 82 so does it warrant all these tridents during half term when passenger numbers are lower/Less Traffic?

On journeys between about 9 and 11:30 it can do as you do get people standing on B6le's as well as there being pushchair turned down. The 82 had several tridents on yesterday for some unknown reason but overall this is what I think the 82 should be anyway.
