Tony, Do you know if another trident from WN has joined 4562/4 for repaint/refurb?

On of the jobs I do at the moment when I have spare time is do full fleet checks at garages to check which ones aren't reporting to AVL properly. Wolverhampton & Coventry were the only two I didn't do today, so no I don't know!

In other news, saw a notice today saying the return ticket sold on the 59 is increasing in price to £3.50. Will this apply to the return tickets sold on other routes also?

4541 was at the Ivy Bush with the bonnet up at 8:40 this morning, on its way into town. Sounded like the engine was still running.

WN seem to be short of double deckers again. There have been single deckers sighted on the 1,59,79,529 and 256/7 over the past few days

And on that note 2007 is on WN 59 today

The notice I've seen implies that the same return fare is available on the common section of route Wednesfield Road/Lichfield Road.

So does that mean the same return fare is also available between those points & Wolverhampton on the 69 & 89 too?

Yes, it is valid on the full 59 route and also on the 69 and 89 between Lichfield Road and Wolverhampton only.

Return tickets can also be purchased on the 69/89 on the Wolverhampton-Lichfield Rd (Peacock Ave Junction)
