Yep Spectra's heating is fab, far better than pretty much all the freezing WN Tridents, only problem comes in the Summer when it often comes on to release engine heat

I agree, spectras are great vehicles in their own right, only downsides are the vandalism and fading exrerior paintwork

2068 still on the 59 tonight (One of the last 4 buses). I was out about 19:30 and 4013,4569,4573,5510,5513 and 2068 were out. 4013 i belive went out of service about 20:25 at Wolverhampton Bus Station, This board seems to be always Spectra operated

Does anybody know why WN are so generous as to giving the 11 four double deckers most days, when 5 B6LE's would do the job just fine, those deckers could be used on routes like the 2, 3, 4, 3 and 10 which I personally believe could do with some extra capacity

one decker goes on the 11 off a school between 9.30 and 15.30 or thereabouts. there seems to be lots of weird allocations at the min. for example, a trident was on the 28 this afternoon.

That particular board can be anything, for the majority of the last week, four deckers on the 11 I think is abit too generous when other routes could use them, maybe a trident is a step down from a 61 plate volvo thing but still, the deckers have the capacity those routes need

Ashley, B7RLE's can only be used on the 10 because they are the only buses at WN that can activatle the Bus Lane into Perton.

Tbh Routes like the 126,59,79,255/6/7 have been seeing Single deckers recently with routes like 27/A,28,11,32 and 33 have been seeing tridents and Spectras.


Btw if anyone was wondering where 4001 was today it was working the 27A

Must be back to full fighting fitness then as the 27 is a bit of a workout compared to the 59!

Have noticed that 4001 does usually stick to the 59 along with sometimes the 11/32/3 so the 27/A is quite different from its usual routes

4001 was on the 27/25 tonight, this may be different from its usual routes but it was only there because it was a replacement bus. It came on the 27 at 5pm although I'm not sure which bus it replaced.

4 1's running in absolute convoy this evening, 5516, 5412, 5418 and 5512 has there been an accident or something on the route or just bad traffic?
