Quote from: Jack on October 15, 2023, 06:19:42 PMYou're also doing the same by moaning that Platinums are on the 14, no passengers care as long as the bus turns up and takes them to their destination, whether it be a full size single or Hydrogen.

Remind me where he's been brought up by me? You talk exactly like him as if you know it all.
I'm sure no passengers on the 14 care that a Sutton bus is on their turf. But it bothers me for one, when I have to get in an e400 at peaks.

I recall you demanding Tony that YW need something better than tridents from BC (in the transfers thread). So seen as 'a bus is a bus' you're a hypocrite.
I wonder where else you have gone backtracked.
'Are you another ALF like Mr Williams?'
'Remind me where he's been brought up by me?'

More talking a whole heap of nothing?

You're still so bothered by this guy, you bring him up now. he's been banned from this forum for some precious time. No one else is bothered and is glad he's gone.

Quote from: ellspurs on October 15, 2023, 04:29:21 PM"Bus" goes on "Bus route". That is all that matters.
If that was the case there wouldn't be any branded buses. Vehicle upgrades would be made proportionally across Birmingham + Black Country.

Nor would there be generic branding 'charge into city' 'extra leg room' 'free Wi-Fi' exc...  if those buses didn't make a difference to passengers.

Quote from: Jack on October 15, 2023, 04:26:29 PMIf it's 'so dirty' why do they Platinums on it then? They also have the most clearest CCTV to catch any trouble makers.

When BC had the 14 it was a mix of Tridents E400's and Platinums, so sort your logic out and your rude tone.

Even when it does go back they have a handful of unbranded 46** left, so it will be every so often they are on the 14, as the 44** do stick to the 97 97% of time.
And who asked you to answer for him? You're just talking at this point. none of what you say makes sense.....

This is just clogging up the thread with your questions on my unanswered questions. Yes it is hence my point bc allocate it oldest of the old, and PB Allocate it every other type of bus(2007-2019).

Quote from: 2206 on October 15, 2023, 12:17:21 PMBecause I would have thought PB would have enough deckers for it as the X14 has a lower PVR than the 14. And they'd be double decker buses for a double decker route.

I would also think the 14 is equally as worthy for newer buses as its a very busy route. Its seen lots of platinums at PB anyway.
This is what I don't get 'And they'd be double decker buses for a double decker route.'- your pretty much stating that the X14 should be de-platinum allocated' for the same, less in amount of buses that were used on the 14. Why? It operated fine at PB as 'platinum' since 2016... so it should loose that for the dirty 14?

My point was BC thought the 14 was so worthy, all the tridents that served on the 900' 3 upgrades ago, and the old tridents on the 45/7 should collectively be allocated to these east Birmingham routes. And even when they were being seen off in 2021 still used on the 14 till it transfer to PB...

Quote from: 2206 on October 15, 2023, 12:28:14 AMX14 might just use the deckers from the 14 moving out.

Why are they more worthy?
Why is the 61/63 more worthy than the 14 for newer buses? Pretty obvious. The 61 was platinum until things got moved around when the new X20 came in.

PB gave 7513/4 to BC for the X14 in jan so it's only fair the same platinum buses (with charging ports that actually work) return back. Why should the X14 use the same deckers as the 14 when it's a platinum route?

I have no doubt when the 14 returns to BC, it will use an equal share of tridents and e400s on the WWH rota. Maybe an odd platinum...

Quote from: 2206 on October 13, 2023, 09:53:36 PMThe 14 has been mostly Platinum and E400 as well as the odd omnilink omnicity appearing even more so since the 44XX left PB last year. The 94/95 could also see any bus type when they were at PB to before.

With the X1 leaving BC, those platinums will also be freed up for another route. Guess they might go on the 60 or even the 14

bc is going to need to give back PB some platinums for the X14. Whatever spare from the X1 should be used on more worthy routes like the 61/3 for a start.

Someone quick-witted 🙌🏻

Platinum isn't the standard vehicle, it may be predominantly platinum in the city. However my point remains.

The Sutton lines have always required around 30 vehicles, and been kept update every few years, those 3 routes tend to be more respected by passengers . While the 14 was allocated predominantly tridents with the odd e400 before arriving at PB. Now the Suttons regularly serve that clarty route.

If a bus is a bus what's the point of 'platinum' spec? I don't see the 9 a full allocation of tridents.

I see the X4 regularly use e400s at peak times, when there's Sutton platinum branded buses all over the place.

If they keep running services like these they'll be turned odious.

Why are so many platinums allocated to the 14 today. The 907 could use them. Should actually make the Sutton lines platinum. Even bc doesn't allocate it platinums

Personally I don't. As a regular user of the route 67, I would hate to suffer through nechells. Birchfield road is bad enough.

I would like the X4 to return to Minworth.
