It's like how 6148 looks so much better than the branded E400 MMCs at YW. Looks much smarter without the branding.

They do look smart without the crap they get plastered with.

Just seen two X12s. Kudos to whoever programmed the displays; they look well nice! 😍

I'm quite intrigued, they've changed the X1 display as well, not overly keen if I'm honest.

Haven't seen the X1 ones; tbf, if it's anything like the X12, then I'd be pleased.

Basically, the programmed route number looks like the font from branding. It seems to be a static display, also. The citybound display said

Only seen one so far but it's E200
That might just be what the Sunday allocation is though, can't imagine it's really going to warrant deckers on a 20 mins frequency on Sunday
Edit - Was fully E200 today, and I have to say leaving Solihull at 4pm it was quite full, so maybe deckers wouldn't go a miss

On the subject of the 72
Wasn't Lode Lane meant to be some sort of quality corridor - ergo the 71/72 getting the new E200s?
Obviously now AG have some Geminis transferred in so it's decker operated, but if Solihull council still want could we soon see new MMC Deckers coming?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

After the recent fleet changes (including the ones due at some point this month), AG has sunk to having the oldest average fleet age in the company, despite having x39 '15' plate vehicles out of a total 141.

According to the Microsoft Excel 'Average' function, the average bus is 11 years old.

The newest is Pensnett with the average bus being 6 years old.

I've rounded these figures up to the nearest whole number.

(note: 3225 is not included in the average fleet age)

After these changes, I've got the fleet breakdown as:

x 29 Enviro 200 MMC (18 branded for the 37)
x 23 Volvo B7TL ALX400
x 79 Volvo B7TL Gemini (35 branded for the Outer Circle)
x 10 Enviro 400 MMC (Platinum)
x 1 Daimley CVG6 Crossley

Total : 142
