According to the Microsoft Excel 'Average' function

I thought your FMOTL beliefs didn't allow you to sign contracts...

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Sorry I don't follow.

I can sign as many contracts as I want, when I get out, FMOTL saves me. I'm a man not a person and not a legal entity.

You get my drift lol

Is the destination display the same on the gemini's as it is on the platinums on the X12?

Yes. 4652 was on the X12 yesterday. Saw a picture of it on Facebook with the new destination format.

4665 has gained a rear led destination display. Outer Circle and the via points can be seen scrolling behind the 11C on the rear destination display though.

4501 is on the X12 today.

I'm told that 6708 was on the 1 too.

4333-presumably on loan from Yardley Wood-on the 72. Just left Chelmsley Wood.

2201 on route 72. Left Solihull just under half an hour ago.

I'm not sure that's unusual (can anyone confirm?), I've seen at least one on there everyday since Tuesday (didn't see it Monday).

Took a ride on the X12 this afternoon from city centre to the Airport.

Was a bit surprised that it went along Aston Expressway and Tyburn Road, rather than along Nechells Parkway and Heartlands Parkway. If there are no traffic issues, is there a set 'first choice' route that drivers should follow? Or unless they are advised otherwise, can drivers pick whichever route they fancy?  :D

Anyway, Priory Queensway to Bromford Drive in a little over 11 minutes, and almost exactly 30mins to get to Smiths Wood (Windward Way, Buckingham Road). If I lived in that area, I think I'd be very pleased to have a much faster bus to/from the city centre. Also, good idea to have that five minute layover in Chelmsley Wood, however I can see some people getting annoyed if, like today, the service is running on time.

Like with the X70, I like the idea of better serving passengers from outlying areas, by avoiding the parts of a route that slow down a journey through 'inner' areas. As long as there are still regular 'all-stops' services through these inner areas, such as Washwood Heath and Ward End for example, due to their proximity to the city centre, they're not missing out when it comes to journey time, compared to passengers at the outer ends of a route. The problem really though is a lack of main trunk roads from the city centre that buses could 'express' along.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath
