2204 is running along the 73 route this morning, marked Staff Bus, with a  number of drivers on board.

Yes it's definitely route learning day, PB onnilink just passed me full of drivers on Holly Lane Erdington. Judging by its 'progress', they haven't allocated much time for the day!!

Are AG's platinums being upgraded with the USB chargers. Also at AG the platinums wifi doesn't work on 6708 and 6710.

6703-6710 still have 900 route maps in. They'll probably be removed when the changes take place.

2209 operated the 11E 07:50 Stechford to Kings Heath on the 11C.
2247 operate an 11E to Ward End on the 11A.

Park Lane is closed from Monday 15th May till Friday 16th June.
That means the 71 over this period of time is being rerouted away from the low bridge in Castle Vale and Minworth Village.
The diversion is, Farnbrough Road, Park Lane, Manby Road, Kingsbury Road to Tyburn House Island, back up the Kingsbury Road in the opposite direction till Asda Minworth, Walmley Ash Road then normal line of route towards Sutton.
Asda Minworth, Walmley Ash Road, Kingsbury Road, Manby Road, Park Lane, Farnbrough Road then normal line of route towards Chelmsley Wood and Solihull. That means over this period of time it would be possible for a double decker to get onto the 71.

None have been used so far (I'm sure we'd have all heard about it if it had happened!). While possible, it is probably highly unlikely.

The first 71A journey towards Solihull on a Saturday from Sheldon Wheatsheaf is at 22:42. So most likely the driver put the wrong route on the destination display by mistake.

Don't want to start spamming this thread, with sightings of debranded MMCs, but debranded 2238 is on the 1/E. Personally, I prefer them debranded. Makes use of the windows' original purpose: to look out from! 😂
