They do look very dull without branding - the red lifts the rather gloomy greys.

While I was on a rare trip on the 37 this morning to work, I noticed 6701 passing the opposite way through Greet.

Any reason why all the 'generic' Platinum branding it had while at BC has been removed? Wouldn't have hurt to leave it on for now, I would have thought?
On the 1 today, its only been removed on the one side.

I noticed three buses on the 72 are the 37 branded vehicles , could this be some of the ones with 71/72 branding are being re done for pending changes

Many 37 branded E200 MMC are on the 71 and 72 every day and have been for a while now.
The 1 is the same, branded E200 MMC are on there nearly every day during the week.

Presumably the later E200s are at Plaxtons. The later ones are obviously 71/72 branded.

Thought they've all been done and returned to AG now?

I'm not sure. It'd explain all the Scanias hanging around

dw1308

I have been wondering why AG has some scanias floating about. What is wrong with the e200 mmcs atm then?

They were having mods fitted to them. Something to do with emissions I believe. I think (don't quote me on this) they were having the panel between the front doors and the front nearside wheel replaced (and possibly underneath the doors). I know they were getting damaged when using the kneeling suspension.

Stevo

That would explain why they now seem to have thicker fleet number transfers on the side.

A couple weeks after they were on the road, there were various notices around AG depot informing drivers of this fault. A lot of drivers are lazy and don't pull upto stops correctly, and therefore bash the front nearside off of the Kassel Kerbs when lowering the floor. Some stops are tricky however, usually when the stop is on a bend. 11C stop on Vicarage Road at the Allens Croft Road/Milbrook Road junction springs to mind.

The Real 4778

Presumably it was an AG vehicle involved in that horrific stabbing last night on Rookery Road.

Don't you start.

monkeyjoe

Just read about that, must be really traumatic for the driver and passengers etc. So sad.
