4960 was parked up broken down just out of the city centre at around 18:00 this evening. Engineer in attendance and engine flap open, with a coolant watering can beside the bus.

Sounds like an Health and Safety nightmare!

Employees / 'Bus Spotters' pushing buses on the public highway?  Good grief.

It's called community spirit. Nothing wrong with helping out in times of need!

On Monday evening I seen Diamonds 30897 broken down in Solihull, with the engine flap up and an engineer in attendance. Apparently something to do with the starter motor. It was fixed after the engineer was working on it and fiddling around with parts of the engine, with a little help from the van jump starting it!
Later that evening 4473 was switched off by kids from the engine compartment in chelmsley wood whilst on the 97, then was struggling to start back up again.
Later on that night I seen 4772 in Coventry being driven back to the garage by an engineer with the van following.

4506(?) was parked up near the airport on Saturday evening with hazards on, presumably having been on the X12. Not long after I saw it, I  over heard a passenger on the X1 that got on at the airport, that was on the X12 before saying the bus had broke down.

The rear display on 4771 is now working again. Must have been broken for at least a year and two months!
