Quote from: Stu on April 06, 2024, 07:08:53 PMLet me guess, you saw E011 parked up in Sparkbrook by Aldi just after 4pm with it's hazard warning lights on?

If so, it wasn't 'broken down', I can see on BusTimes that it was turned short at Camp Hill Island due to late running, and so would have been sat waiting time to start it's outbound journey on-time.

Please don't automatically assume that any bus parked up somewhere with hazards on is 'broken down'.

I can also see that on arriving in Solihull, the bus did go straight back to garage, but even so a bus that can get back to the garage itself has not technically 'broken down'.

Oh, I do apologise. It's true I did see that the bus was parked up with the hazards on as well as all of its destination displays being completely blank which gave me the impression that the bus had broken down.

I saw 4847 being recovered with a tow truck from Auckland Drive, just before the junction at Arran Way at 01:50 this morning. Bustimes suggests it had been there since around 00:15.

Spotting a bus broken down isn't exactly a "breakdown experience".

Unfortunately I've observed that this thread has indeed been more about spotting broken down buses than the experience of being on a broken down bus. Thankfully, regarding the latter, I have only one such incident.
