If drivers couldn't enforce it, then who would?  I think it would be a matter of being refused travel if you weren't wearing a face mask.

So the Driver can get abused more, swore at and threatened etc..?

Grant Shapps Transport Sec is now saying face coverings will be mandatory on public transport from 15th June.

How will the be enforced on buses ? Surely drivers can't be made to enforce this ?

Are NX updating the fleet with " Bus Full " on the destinations blinds then ?

If they are then that's a great idea and will help stop confusion etc. Surely it's difficult for drivers to enforce capacity, or are they expected to ?

Anyone know what the service level increase is going up to from w/c 31st May ?

It's 75% from next week then even more from 31st May ( I think ).

I believe there's to be further reductions from 12th April.

Anyone have any idea what this is likely to be, Sunday service perhaps ?

Hi All, anyone know what the frequency of the WN 8 and X8 will be from Monday please ?

At present they are on 30 mins each, combining every 15 mins from WN to Dudley.

I guess they may now have to look at further reductions to maybe a Sunday service or something similar to Boxing Day perhaps ?

Will everything shutting and all the new measures there won't be many people using the buses unfortunately.

Good question Bob, who knows ?

Regarding getting key workers to work, I was wondering if something similar to a ring and ride would be set up and they use this like a staff bus service maybe ?

Network West Midlands have set up a dedicated Network Overview page to advise on current service status:
https://www.networkwestmidlands.com/plan-your-journey/network-overview/

Sorry for the silly question but why does this webpage say that there may be cancellations to just PN services ?

Hi @TT90.

To answer both of your questions.

Firstly that are probably still working on the NSA on the WN8.

Secondly the NSA does still work on the WNX8.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated 😉

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere but the next stop announcements aren't working on the new WN8 service. Anyone know if this is being rectified soon ?

Presume they still work on the WNX8 ?

The 8 will be interworking with the X8, it's going to be WN operated. Wolverhampton already send buses dead to Stourbridge on the current 16.

So the 8 and X8 will interwork on the same running boards ? i.e Bus comes in to WN BS as an 8 and then goes out as an X8 to Birmingham etc and vice
versa ?

Hope they've factored in decent layover from each trip for this to happen then  :-\

Will this mean the X8 branding will be removed or re-done, and the 8 branding added on if the buses are interworking running boards ?

I thought maybe the Wollaston Farm part of the 8 could be added onto the PN7 seen as it terminates at Wollaston Junction, and have the 8 terminate at Stourbridge ?

As others have said, I think the 8 will have reliability issues WN side and will also make the MH / Stour side struggle too. Just hope they've built decent running time and layover to account for this ?. You'll have X8 and 8 running late on the same WN rota.

Will NX be announcing the changes soon and have the new routes / extensions been registered as yet ?
