The Hawkesley terminus (27,35,84) is at the opposite end of Shannon road, the 45 turns off at Foyle Road, which to the best of my knowledge is classed as Kings Norton isn't it? The Redditch Road section would be Hawkesley though.

The 45 does serve Shannon Road doesn't it? The 35 terminus is Hawkesley, Shannon Road

It does serve it but only for 2 stops at the very far end, the 35 terminus is at the heart of Hawkesley, at the opposite end? If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I always thought that end was Kings Norton territory. Of course, some would also argue that end could be called Pool Farm so it is a very odd place.

I've always been confused by that area, does Hawkesley consist of one road, because the 49 virtually follows the 35 along that area and doesn't have Hawkesley in its via points. Maybe I'm just confusing myself, lol

The 45 and 49 don't quite serve Hawkesley.  The northern end of Shannon Road and Foyle Road are Kings Norton.  Hawkesley is an estate built in the late 1970s/early 1980s.  Meadowsweet Avenue is about the northern limit of Hawkesley, Longdales Road the outer edge of it.  Yes it's confusing, but look for the late 70s housing and generally that's Hawkesley!
