126E - Burnt Tree Junction

From which direction, Birmingham or Wolverhampton?

Birmingham

That is really wierd as all drivers on the 126 only do one trip, so the driver would have to go to Wolverhampton anyway and would not turn back to come to Birmingham, so it seems strange not to send him into Dudley Bus Station before running private to make time up

wilmotm (Matt Wilmot)

Very strange indeed, presume it terminated where the 126 and 74/87 meet opposite Tesco and then carried on into Dudley anyway! What a weird decision

I was on a 126E to Five ways at 6..30 tonight, and I saw a 126E to Burnt Tree at that time as well.

are there supposed to be 87E's to Oldbury coming from Birmingham?
I know there are timetabled ones from Dudley during the evening, but this one was during the day.

Although running as a E to Burnt Tree you can run straight up the Birmingham new road dead without having to faf around in Dudley.

That's not really untimetabled is it? On Sundays, 60 and 60E runs alternatively every 10 minutes.

Does the 60E terminate at Swan Island? Or does it go forward to the McDonalds and turn around there?

I've seen them turn at the U-turn by Clay Lane and at the lights at Gilbertstone Ave

i was thinking about thiis, did it terminate at Burnt Tree and then go straight down the New Road to get back to Wolverhampton quick, going into Dudley and terminating would have added a good ten minutes on.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
