Saw a PB Gemini on a 94E to Ward End. Which then turned round on Stechford Lane.
Also 14E to Chelmsely Interchange.

And a couple to Bacons End.

Sure I may have asked this question in the past, but what is the definition of an E journey.

Whenever I am at Merry Hill, you see the short journeys on the 15 shown as 15E Wallheath on there display, however today I saw the 08:47 timetabled short journey on the 9 between Stourbridge & Halesowen, and the bus just displayed 9 Halesowen.

E journeys are basically a short working of the route. Forgot what the E means (think it means exception or something like that.) NX have changed the destination blinds on some buses where it doesn't show the E anymore; doesn't make sense to me.

I believe so as the 19 does some timetabled short workings to Halesowen and I haven't seen any E for a while.

If a route is timetabled to terminate short of the full route, then no, an E or Part route is not used

Like the X4 Sutton shorts don't have this and the LED blind just shows Sutton via Erdington, the on bus announcements still work on this option. There is also a Sutton (Part route) option for us to use I guess when late running and adjusted to turn short but no announcements work with this one

They use E and Part Route on the timetabled 11E's to Harborne on the 11A, such as the one at 08:11 from Fox and Goose and the ones in the evening.

To be honest. i think the E suffix should be dropped altogether.

A lot! They save drivers so much hassle. Yes some people don't and some have no idea what it means, but definitely worth having

@Tony  It's worth having if it is used the same away across the board.

For example the short journeys on the 15 between Merry Hill and Wallheath are 15E, the short journeys on the 28 between Stourbridge and Merry Hill are just the 28 when theoretically they should be 28E.
