Greetings

The problem is that they leave your photos on Flickr  but are able to make a decent  copy of the photos  and do as they please with it and I am rather possessive  of the Copyright to my photos trying to take these thieves to make them pay  will cost a great deal of money I
aint got I am till taking   photos but they are going into my database of photos

I haven't been on Flickr for a few years, but my photos are still on there. What a shame if you've deleted all your content. You had some amazing photos.

If I may add my four penny's  worth,  If you do not wish anyone  to pinch your photos  this will have left you with two options, One is to have the setting on Flickr  so that only you and possibly friends  can see them  or Two  just delete them that way they cannot be stolen,   till  recently I have just under Six Million  views of my photos on Flickr,  that was till I saw how easy  it can be to have your photos stolen,  I use  Opera Web Browser  to surf the web, it unfortunately it comes with software  called Snapshot, using this software  it is possible to nick as many photos as you wish, I have now deleted all of my photos from Flickr rather than have them pinched,

Try Snapshot (it is free)  it made me rethink about having my photos on the web, all of my photos had a Watermark on them but apparently there is software that can remove the Watermark  from the photo, I hope that this has been of use ?

Sadly it was not possible to save the  "Out of  Darkness  "  sign  on safety  grounds,    and the other "tram"   now may not be saved    again on safety grounds  they may still save it  but I do not hold out much hope, the  "Out of Darkness"  Stone  sign  is somewhere under these bricks     https://www.flickr.com/photos/dofartshavelumps/34276270071/in/dateposted/

It appears  that the two  stones are to be saved and go to the BCLM
"  I have had confirmation from Irene, head of collections at Black Country Museum, that they are having the long frieze as seen in your photo, as well as the smaller one you mentioned previously. "

Kind regards

Laura Waters

It is a pity that the one on the outside of the  building  (Bilston Road)   was not saved

Demolition continues at a pace  it is hoped that this  sign may be saved  https://www.flickr.com/photos/dofartshavelumps/34260961106/in/dateposted/
to go to either  Crich  Tramway  or  BCLM  they   BCLM  are thought  to be saving the  "Out  of Darkness Cometh  Light"  sign but as yet both are still in position  (but not  for much longer)

Greetings

Early  next year will mark  the Demolition of the Former Cleveland Road Bus, Tram,  Garage  Wolverhampton,  another part of the Wolverhampton transport history  will disappear,
in its place will be houses, there was going to be a supermarket at one time, but I believe that's not going to happen now, the last bus garage to be demolished  was the Midland Red bus garage in Bilston St a few years ago.

The Erection of the Tram Shelters in Corporation St and Stephenson St, have to be completed  first, there is also the Pavement work  to be completed in  Stephenson St and Corporation St ,  when this is done the next phase will be to test the tram on the track,  this may done in the early hours of the morning with a police or other escort, or the track may be tested during the hours of daylight,  as they did for the section to  Bull St,

4453 has crashed into the bridge at the transport museum and smashed 3 of the glass panes. It was about to be displayed and take part in a event at the museum today. Damage is being assessed to the bridge.

I was under the impression that the land was owned by A N Other,   I am certain that NXWM only have a lease on the land, this was the reason that they only sold the Tram/Bus part and not what was originally  the P W department,     Of course I may be wrong and will acknowledge this  if someone knows other,

I wish I could remember the  book that I read this in,

Little off topic but is Miller St owned by NXWM? or is it some other firm... Silly question I know

As I understand it there will be a Tram Platform?  on the new bridge  that goes over Great Charles Street, this will mean that the tram will stop at the platform the traveling public can then walk up the grass verge and get into town that way, the other way will be by mean of a bridge that will be built of the former tram track, and they can the use the platform the exit the station that way, how long this bridge will be in position I do not know if it will be a temp bridge or not ?
