Will the 78/78A be Walsall operated?

Westy

How will this affect the 77, bearing in mind it got chopped to Sutton - Streetly previously, & got reinstated to the full Sutton - Walsall route, due to winning the Erdington extension?

it won't, the 78 and 604 (NEW 78A) have nothing in common with the 77 or 77A

Anyone know what the future holds for the PB 3? Seems a very odd service with 1 oneway AM peak and 1 oneway PM peak...

It's a school service, hence the limited working.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

should be since its replacing the 604 which is, and also an e200 would suit the route a lot more than a omnilink and that the whole half of the route in hundred acre where the first buses depart is a full WA area with the 6 and 9XX routes

EDIT: looking at the dataset info it confirms its a WA working, https://data.bus-data.dft.gov.uk/timetable/dataset/7353/

Then why not bumber it 7** or 8** like others? And does this mean it won't be running over Easter hols then?

Why should it be numbered 7XX or 8XX?
Like most of the others though its a public service, where its main patronage will be school childeren. It also runs alongside the X3 between Hill Hook and Lichfield hence the route number.
And it runs school time only, next timetabled departure is Monday 17th April.

According to bus times it also appears to be a Staffordshire CC tendered service.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Diamond Bus are running it until April 15. NX take over on the 17th April.
According to gov.uk, its subsidised by TfWM,  not Staffs CC.

Think you mean the 78? Its the PB 3 (Streetly to Lichfield) that's subsidised by Staffordshire CC?
